What if memories were rooms we could revisit? Retrospective is a collection of thoughts, stories, and emotions gathered from moments that refused to disappear. At fourteen, I do not claim to understand love the way movies or novels describe it. But I understand what it feels like to care deeply, to lose people slowly, to replay conversations at midnight, and to carry emotions that feel heavier than they should. I may not understand everything about my life either. Truthfully, I think nobody really does. We are all just moving through unfamiliar days, collecting lessons from mistakes, heartbreaks, and moments that change us quietly. I am still learning, still questioning, still trying to make sense of things that do not always have clear answers. This series is not written by someone who has figured life out. It is written by someone who is trying their best to, for those who I believe are trying their best as well. This series was born from the idea that memories never truly leave us. Some become warm reminders of who we used to be. Others stay like unfinished sentences, following us into places we thought were new. Through these chapters, I invite you to look back with me. Not to stay trapped in the past, but to understand it. To revisit old versions of ourselves, grieve what changed, appreciate what remained, and learn that healing does not always arrive loudly. If you have ever missed someone who still exists, held onto moments that ended too soon, or felt homesick for a version of yourself, maybe you will find a piece of yourself here. Welcome to Retrospective.

Pain isn't something you can seal , Pain doesn't goes away until you heal . Pain doesn't knocks upon your door without a reason, Pain passes by like changing seasons. So hold on , breathe ; let it flow, Carry it's mark wherever you go. Pain wouldn't drown you , it's gonna teach you how to fly. Just don't give up this time , Bleed , run , crawl but please do try! There's always a light waiting for you if you believe, It's always gonna take you to the place you were meant to be. ***************************************** P.S - It's just a journal that's more of poetry, prose and phrases ✨

a story behind one of south park's worst parent couples, and if they truly earn that title as they raise a mentally, (and emotionally) challenged child. this is (sorta) a vent fic, but its mainly me wanting to delve deeper into the generation when all the adults were pesky 10 year olds. (not to mention an excuse to write about my favorite south park family of all time) ah, tw i guess? i'll add them as i go along

Everly Laine had never even heard of Felix Abernathy before he just texted her out of the blue one day. She never knew that leaving her phone number on a tutoring flyer could bring her to finding her best friend (and maybe more.) This is a story written between two point-of-views. It's Felix and Everly looking back on their lives together. (Format inspired by Just the Highlights by @tangles-)
