(Cross-posted on AO3) Retsuko wasn't entirely sure what to make of her relationship with Haida. Fenneko's manic analysis of social media and the phenomenon of thigh pics was something she knew how to handle. Kabae running the entire office rumor mill by herself was something she knew how to handle. Director Ton dumping entire mountains of paperwork on her at the last minute was something she knew how to handle. Going to a karaoke bar with Haida and mutually venting to each other through the power of hard rock because Gori's new app had matched them up was something that Retsuko absolutely did not know how to handle. In retrospect, inviting him to be the new and cameraman and editor on her YouTube channel probably wasn't the best idea.

But, what if the story took a turn and was from a different perspective, of a different character. A snarky fennec fox. Fenneko. TW: May contain swearing, and some darker topics.

Haida was heartbroken, Valentine's Day was coming. Fenneko wasn't interested in letting Haida or Retsuko spend it apart. This time, she had a plan to give Haida a fake girlfriend to make Retsuko jealous at the office party. She only wanted them to be together, so why is Retsuko crying, Haida is storming off, and the fake girlfriend is kissing Fenneko?! This was going to be a long night.
