Okay, so I have decided I wanted to redo one of the older stories I have done in the past (now hidden because of cringe). Ya know, because I've improved on my writing (I hope XD) and I've been absent for a while. So yeah, and it's actually going to be more original than it's predecessor! Yay! And yes, the cover art is made by me(as stated clearly on the cover). ~Summery~ None because I don't know how to sum it up. Guess you'll just have to read it to find out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But I will say it takes place in a fictional world, pretty obvious. Christmas Eve was supposed to be a wondrous time, but a respected man of the Sweetwater community had died in a tragic accident. He doesn't remember how it happened, only from newspaper clippings but what he does know is that he's not alone in this. 16 beings; human and demon, dead and broken, their souls were placed in a new and unheard of afterlife with each other. They all were brought here for a reason and yet, they don't know why. Perhaps it's the hurt that they carry over. Betrayal is powerful, after all. So, will the past stay buried or will it be uncovered in a gruesome, unfortunate way? Will forgiveness be learned or will hatred and resentment still plague their souls? Will they learn that even the cruelest of people can change or were they all destined to live in a man-made hell together? Only he knows. --------- Author's note: The setup of the story will be altered slightly but it'll be more enjoyable for you readers. Chapter names reflect that of the songs created by Set it Off, both Elsewhere and Nowhere, and the characters. Character designs are still being made for some characters along with their backstory. However, not everyone is getting a change, some are getting their story enhanced to make them make more sense. A lot of the characters are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Fanart of the characters are fine, in fact, it's encouraged to create art of them! Personal note: AAAAAAAAAAAA I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS YOU READY TO HAVE YOUR SHIT ROCKED?????? Y/N L/N, a young but bright girl who has been studying creatures for longer then I can even remember, finds out about Odd Squad and tries the Academy to work in the Creature Department. She makes it into the squad - some confusion being a big part of the first chapter - and becomes friends with Oscar, a fun, awkward and smart scientist, Agent Otto, a goofy but hardworking agent who can eat a watermelon whole in just 15 seconds, and Agent Olive, the more serious out of the 3 of them.
