Chat is heartbroken after learning that Ladybug loves someone else. He decides to let her be happy with him and tries to get over his partner, while nursing his broken heart. A certain bluenette will not doubt be able to help, and she will fall even more in love along the way, as Adrien will learn to find love somewhere else.

I loved the idea behind my 'Scars' chapter in my oneshot/headcanon book (although yes I know others have done it) so I decided to turn it into a book. Each chapter will be a different episode, there might be some chapters in the middle after hard hitting episodes (looking at you 'Lady of the Lake'). So yeah the first chapter is just that oneshot, then it goes onto the story. Obvi won't include Arthur's death but has good Mordred. Chapter uploads will be sporadic but I promise you I'm not giving up on this story

After a dreadful Akuma attack, Adrien loses possession of his Miraculous. Now, with only a matter of time before someone else finds his ring, Adrien and Plagg are forced to try and figure out the identity of Ladybug. Meanwhile Marinette copes with losing her partner and realizing that, now that Chat Noir is gone, she might have actually loved him.

Queen Bee thought she was the only one visiting Marinette Dupain-Cheng at night. Honestly, the real miracle is how long it took to run into her teammates when THEY were visiting Marinette. Marinette just has a constant headache at this point.
