The underworld is home to the demons and various other creatures. The demons are divided into 7 groups, each filled with descendants of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Maki is descendent of a lesser known Sin, Hope. With the Revenant, a super-powered, uncontrollable demon rampaging through the underworld, Maki and his companions escape to the overworld. Unfortunately, nowhere is safe from the Revenant's advances and Maki must find a way to destroy the monster for good.

For those unfamiliar with this video game, "Revenant Saga" is a turn-based Japanese RPG developed by Exe-Create and published by KEMCO.
