And so as a scientist my I became obsessed with it and worked to recreate the events that led Barry Allen to become the Flash. Of course I failed many times but hard work always bears fruit in the end and at last the experiment worked and I felt a surge of electricity through my body. It was unlike anything I had ever felt before. All that power! Now that I became a speedster I decided to do what flash does best: Save people. But I was foolish to think I was meant for such greatness. That I would become the fastest man alive in an era where heroes were only myths. The flash humiliated me, ruined everything that I had worked for. So I had decided to kill the flash once and for all! Hence I went back in time to the day he was just a child at 11 years of age. At first I wanted to kill him at first glance but then that would mean my demise in the 25th century as the flash would have never existed. So I decided that I torture him by killing his mother. Nora Allen cried: "Barry!Barry! " Futile for her to say such a thing. Then came Henry Allen, Barry's father who saw what was happening and told Barry: "Run Barry Run!"
