When he wakes up he finds nothing is the same as when he went into his coma. He has powers and is not the only one. He partners up with Silas Stone to help the city as The Flash. Eobard Thawne, also known as the Reverse Flash or Man In Yellow, as finally died due to the Black Flash. He's soul now belong to the speedforce and he had deal with revisiting he's failures in his life. He sees his defeats against the flash, being defeated by the Legends, and seeing his death by the Black Flash. He know the actions he did were wrong but he had to do them for the sake for the timeline, he didn't like killing Nora Allen but he had to do it for Barry to become the Flash. But now the speedforce had given him another chance of live and this time he would be the hero and fight against evil..... he was the Reverse Flash and he was the fastest man Alive.

This is my take as well as my preferred version of the origins of Eobard Thawne/Professor Zoom. I've taken several different adaptations of his backstory throughout the history of DC comic reboots, and I've woven my favorite bits into a coherent storyline, as well as making some changes/additions of my own. Ethan Monroe is not who you think he is. Ethan was born as Ethan Thawne, born in 2019 as the son of Eobard Thawne, The Reverse Flash.
