10 years ago, the human race suffered a cataclysmic event that killed a large part of humanity. This event was called the 2nd Impact In the present day, monsters known as Angels terrorize humanity by trying to cause the 3rd impact. With normal weapons from bullets to nuclear weapons not affecting them, a company known as Smart Brain takes it upon themselves to create the weapon to defeat the Angels. Her eyes were a deep yellow. Her black hair was a tangled mess of mud, dirt and roots. She wore what I was guessing to be an old hospital gown. It was a light grey. Her feet were bare and callous. The remnants of shackles hung loosely off her ankles. She held her left arm awkwardly. I gasped when I saw the dried blood. It looked as if the girl had been shot. The wolf within my mind began to give a low growl. I knew that meant the wolf sensed trouble. I wanted to get closer, ask her, was she okay? The one thing that replayed in my mind was the one question. Had she come from Hollow's Grove as well... Tobias O'Brien wishes that he were just like every other seventeen year old. He wishes he could have friends, a girlfriend, a job and an education. He wants nothing more than to be considered normal. Toby has a dark secret. A secret which he fears that if he were to tell his mother, she would send him away to an institution. The secret, Tobias is a werewolf. He was given the curse on a camping trip that went horribly wrong. Now, he lives with his widowed mother and older brother. His older brother Scotland, is the only one who knows of Tobias' affliction. When Scotland is killed during a training exercise at his work, Tobias begins to become more and more paranoid about his curse. He begins to fear that he will be unable to control the urges that are beginning to seep into his everyday thoughts. Tobias' mother starts to notice that he isn't doing so well and decides that he needs to go away, start afresh, finish his education... The school that she picked, isn't exactly what Tobias originally pictured. The students are rude and the teachers are odd. Tobias can't help but get the feeling that something isn't quite right. What about the students that are there one day and the next day they've vanished. It is as though they were never there at all... There is some mature content in this book. All Rights Reserved.
