So, with nothing to do but watch what world used to be his, he secretly spied on Y/N in her real world in her teenage years, only to find out how much her twisted, fierce, complicated, unpredictable personality. On top of that, she was absolutely obsessed with him, even if he was technically dead and not real in her world (Earth-616 to be exact). He admired that, but didn't realize how much so until she finally actually summoned and revived him at 19..

Life used to be a fun, then she died.
