It all started around one hundred years ago. My home country, Lyra, was turned upside down during a rebel uprising to overthrow the government. After the attempt failed to take over the country everything went to chaos. The government sent troops to every large city to destroy them. And they did. They took twenty people from each city and moved them into the society we live in today. My great grandfather was one of the people they brought into the new society.

In a post apocalyptic wasteland with enormous class differences, society is split into two, where the Netherworld is filled with people trying to survive on the streets. When one day Alais life changes during a revolt on Times Square.

A story of a ruined city trying to rebuild itself from its corruption and devastation by means of corruption and devastation. It starts off with a tyrant leader, and of course, whatever follows: rebellion. The rebellion must start with a cause. Then, the roots must be secured before moving up to the stem and its leave. And only in the end would you see your seed bear fruit. Now, would this rebellion bear any fruit, and would this fruit taste of victory or loss? Does the end justify the means?

Thank you for your support and interest in this creative endeavor! Poetic Perspective Volume One (2nd edition) is a simple collection of poems from extremely early in my writing career. While this volume is nowhere near as organized (and merely half the size) of Poetic Perspective Volume Two: Tempus Intra there are works here as profound and thought-provoking as any you will find in my later works. This foreword has been added after the initial publication (along with numbered stanzas!) to breathe a little quality of life into my collection. Immediately after publishing this dearly personal collection of poetry for public consumption, I realized it was utterly lacking in the individuality and unique attention to detail I so desperately wished to portray. In a final goodwill gesture to my younger self, I decided this collection could make do with a bit of a makeover! Unfortunately, due to the constraints of time that so brazenly restrain our mortal endeavors, I was unable to divide these works into sections as I have with later projects. In an attempt to atone for this I have reformatted most of the works for a more appealing aesthetic (digital and print versions) and added a table of contents! I assure you that nothing has been added to alter the quality of the actual poems from the time of the initial release; as such any copies purchased before this edit are virtually identical to this post-edit edition.
