She has to quit the circus to protect her infant- not to mention the judgement she gets from Phillip Carlyle's rich friends. They don't think she's worthy enough to carry Phillip's child- to them, she's a circus freak who happens to be black. Watching Carlyle- her almost-fiancé- work in the circus is difficult when she can't be in it. Carlyle and Anne have to navigate through rough waters as they carry a child- but as they do so, will their relationship survive? --------------------------- That was an extreme over exaggeration.
