And when he moves with them to a place called Kuoh Town in Japan, he soon realizes that he's more important to the whole world than he realizes... But he's also the most wanted...

Rex Salazar, a 20 year old meta-human that used to live in Metropolis before the events of the zero year of injustice. His once happy family had sadly suffered due to the many events between the former heroes-turned-despots and the resistance. Now several years have passed since the tyranny of the regime and Rex and his brother Caesar now live in San Diego in peace. That was until Rex was offered a chance to use his abilities to help people by the man himself, Bruce Wayne, The Batman! The job though, may be more than he thought since he would be guarding the man that started everything. The Man of Steel and Tyrant, Superman. Sometimes, peace isn't a true occurrence, but merely a lull between the battles of a wider conflict. As the last knight of his fallen comrades swung his glimmering blade down, the strange creatures were brought to their knees. Soon, peace that was once taken from the town finally returned. People began to cheer the knight on and bards sung about the man who killed both; Angel and Devil alike.

Rex has cured the world of Evos and his world has been at peace since before the Nanite event. But when things go wrong and he gets flung through the outer reaches of space, he realizes he's not done being a hero.
