What if the bond, the Dyad and the connection had started earlier? Now I know what most of you may be thinking. "Wow! Another Sequels rewrite. How Original!" I think we can all agree that Disney's handling of the sequels have been...controversial...to say the least. Some liked them, others did not. Now allow me to get this out of the way, I don't hate the sequels, in fact I really enjoyed them (except Rise Skywalker). Was it perfect? No. But I still enjoyed it and truly believe it introduced some interesting ideas. Except the Rise of Skywalker, where Disney retconned said ideas and I was left bitterly disappointed. In this, I'm going to put my two cents on the sequels, your free to agree or disagree with me. This won't be a full on story, but a ruff draft.

Natalia was wrongfully taken from her life back home where she was a slave 24 hours of her life. She knew about the wars but never cared to participate nor did she wanna pick a side. A Reylo AU: The year is 1930. People are starving. Rey is starving. She was abandoned at a young age and when she ran from the stifling orphanage, no one seemed to care, for it was one less mouth to feed. She made her home in the train station and made her living begging for spare coins, as stealing was against her moral code. She stayed in the station because Rey figured that since she was left at a train station, her parents might frequent the train station. Rey's small delights in life came from the cat that lived in the station, imagining what her childhood could have been with different couples that come into the station, and her most favorite was to walk a block from the station and listen to the piano man. He was an old man. Bad fortune and becoming deaf had made him cynical. Unlike everyone else at the time, he was well off where money was concerned. He cared for a nephew whose parents had gone under in the Stock Market Crash. They searched for opportunities for work while his insane uncle took care of him. Ben hated everything about his situation in life. He hated his parents for leaving him. He hated his uncle for offering to take care of him. He hated his uncle for trying to teach him to play the stupid piano that he also hated. He hated that silly girl that always sat on the bench outside at 12:00 everyday to listen to his uncle play. (Complete and edited) After almost missing her flight, Rey boards her plane only to find out she will be sitting next to the "epitome of handsome" man, and can't seem to form words. The six hour flight from LA to NYC will be very eventful. A modern reylo AU where Rey and Ben meet on a plane and possibly more ;)

Rey and Kylo both attended Yale School of Drama. While Rey was the social butterfly who always got the lead roles, Kylo was used to watching from the shadows. But then, they both scored the romantic leads in one of Shakespeare's most romantic plays and what was meant to be a romance on stage, turned into something much more behind the scenes. A Reylo love story.

With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit. There are many items and powers that exist in TROS that I personally do not feel make sense, so they will be omitted (The dagger, lightspeed skipping, Anakin's saber, to name a few).
