The Reylo Fanfiction takes place between The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker and will contain spoilers from both films as a result. This book is the first in a series but it is written in a way where you can enjoy it by itself. The next book after this one is called Searching For You Episode 2. Rey has mended Luke's lightsaber with the help of his sister Leia. Leia has also taken it upon her self to continue the young girls training in the light side of the force by using what she remembers from her own training. Kylo Ren does not understand why Rey's rejection to join him has hurt him so much. He has also been trying to hide his betrayal against the First Order. Ever since Snoke was killed at his hand everyone has been skeptical about letting him lead them. Meanwhile, the force has a mysterious plan for these two which involves deepening their connection even further. Eventually forcing them to hide their connection from everyone and sneak away to meet each other in private.

Ben Solo finds himself in the one place he'd never expected: with his life in the hands of a scavenger girl. Our story begins with a quest, and a few twists in the road leading us somewhere we'd never expect to be. When the galaxy's most foreboding army loses its leader, life might go back to normal - or there might be something far, far worse lurking beneath the surface. Can Ben and Rey find each other in time? Kylo's death ignited a new force no one expected; and the only thing that can stop it, is the dyad itself. (A TROS alternate ending. I do not own any of the characters!) *** NOTICE: This is a SLOW BURN "reylo" romance. As alluded to in the title and description, there are other forces at play, and while their relationship is at the center of the story, it's not the only important aspect. I strive to be as realistic as possible, and to do the characters justice, as well as the Star Wars franchise. When I decided to write this, I wanted to write a book that I could feasibly see on-screen. If you enjoy Star Wars for more than just "reylo", you will enjoy this book!

In my head cannon, Ben Solo lived and this is the life he and Rey went on to have together. The story begins near the end of The Rise of Skywalker, right after Rey has defeated Emperor Palpatine. Enjoy!

When Rey is sent by Master Luke to the ice planet Hoth for meditation, an old battle droid strikes her ship sending her crashing to the planet's icy surface. The force is her only connection to anyone and she sends out a cry for help, but Kylo Ren is not who she hoped to hear her message. (Posting of an old fic I wrote on AO3, so a of developments from the newer movies are not in this one)

It was 30 ABY, Leia knows that her son being a senator means he will have many enemies, but after an attack on the Galactic Congress Leia decided she needed to ensure Ben's safety especially well he is away from home, so she hires a Jedi to be his personal bodyguard.

This story continues from The Last Jedi, and pretty much ignores most of The Rise Of Skywalker, though there may be a few nods to it. This story is also very different from most Reylo fan fictions, including my own. It's going to a little more fast paced than usual, but when I started it was supposed to be a one shot, so it'll probably be a short story.

The TROS ending was controversial to say the least. The movie was full of brilliant cinematography, music, and special effects but the story was a bit off. To many events were being pact into the small movie time and we only really got to see one character correctly develope. Ben Solo, which is most likely why he is one of the best and most liked characters in the sequel trilogy, the other reason being he was played by the lovely Adam Driver. Rey was a close second in the race for character development but she was struck by the short amount of time there was to get in a massive amount of storytelling, backstory, and character development. So, I have attempted to rewrite the ending of TROS with a more fan involved ending. STAR WARS: A Voice of Hope The universe is still reeling from the destruction of the New Republic and the Rise of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. With Luke Skywalker gone, Kylo has become obsessed with finding the scavenger, Rey. He has dispatched his dreaded Knights of Ren to the ends of the galaxy in search of her. Meanwhile, with the Resistance decimated after the battle on Crait. General Leia Organa has sent Finn, Poe Dameron, and Rose Tico on a recruiting mission to Corellia. Her hope, that her brother's brave sacrifice on Crait was enough to re-ignite the spark of rebellion in the galaxy.

This is my description of Rey and Ben's last Force connection in The Last Jedi.

Written for The Maw: Star Wars Writing Contest entitled The Final Goodbye, this short story tells (in less than 500 words) what transpired between Rey and Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) after the death of Emperor Palpatine. Please let me know if you want an expanded version. I would love to write one!
