After a decision that splits Kylo Ren in two, Anakin takes the opportunity to talk some sense into his grandson. With a change of heart, Ben starts himself on the path towards a new destiny and is forced to come to terms with his past. Rey, in turn, finds herself moving towards a darker path filled with grief and family, as she strives to find her place in the galaxy. The only thing that links the two is an unspoken destiny, and mentors who leave them with more questions than answers.

(Takes place after the last Jedi! This will be focused mostly on Ben and Rey, and not much of the other characters, though I do love Finn. Enjoy!) Rey can see the light inside of Ben, he can see her darkness. Together they fight against the force, fight against rage that builds inside of them, and the light that forces them to see each other as they are. They are the balance of the force, they are the stop to all of this.

Rey, an 18 year old empath, has felt nothing but other people's love and emotions for her entire life. Unable to comprehend the idea that she can love or have emotions of her own, she deems herself unlovable in all aspects. However, her entire understanding of her life is flipped when she meets her empathic AP biology teacher, who seems to have the same problem as her.

It's been thirty years since the Empire had fallen and the Jedi had returned. It's been twenty-five years since the creation of the New Order. Thirty years the galaxy has been at peace. But some things don't last forever. A new threat is slowly growing, and young Jedi Knight Rey wants to make sure it is destroyed before it can take away everything she's ever known.
