After the fall of the First Order, Rey and her friends work to rebuild the galaxy and guide a new Jedi Order. But when she learns of an ancient artifact said to open the World Between Worlds, Rey embarks on a mission that could heal the wound in the Force-and possibly heal her broken dyad.

Rey feels relieved after finally defeating Emperor Palpatine. But she feels like a piece of her is missing. And when she tells Finn exactly what happened to her that day, she faces backlash from the Resistance. Will she be able to fix her mess? Will she be able to find Ben again? Or will she go farther down her rabbit hole.

Rey, an 18 year old empath, has felt nothing but other people's love and emotions for her entire life. Unable to comprehend the idea that she can love or have emotions of her own, she deems herself unlovable in all aspects. However, her entire understanding of her life is flipped when she meets her empathic AP biology teacher, who seems to have the same problem as her.

After a decision that splits Kylo Ren in two, Anakin takes the opportunity to talk some sense into his grandson. With a change of heart, Ben starts himself on the path towards a new destiny and is forced to come to terms with his past. Rey, in turn, finds herself moving towards a darker path filled with grief and family, as she strives to find her place in the galaxy. The only thing that links the two is an unspoken destiny, and mentors who leave them with more questions than answers.

SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS - THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Post-Rise of Skywalker. The war is over, everyone is celebrating their victory, but Rey feels cut off from the world. The pain of the losses she's endured is too much, and she escapes to the planet of Ahch-To, the island of the first Jedi temple and where she met Luke Skywalker, to think and process what happened. She calls Luke through the Force but he never seems to respond. Until Rey decides to do what her Master had done, and close herself off from the Force. Will that be the solution? Will Luke be able to help Rey?

Together they fight against the force, fight against rage that builds inside of them, and the light that forces them to see each other as they are. They are the balance of the force, they are the stop to all of this.
