One accident in the middle of space proved to be worthwhile in the long term

This is an excerpt of my fan fiction: "Will You Love Me?" (Chapter 4 & 5)

The adventures of Poe, Finn, Rey and Kylo/Ben through the films an after. What happens when things have somewhat settled down? Are all their problems solved? Romance is in the air and unlikely friendships turn up in the most unexpected places.

After Rey and Ben are done fighting the red guardians, or whatever they are, I rewrite the script to what SHOULD have happened.

~A Reylo one shot after The Rise of Skywalker ~ -An Alternate Ending- After the death of Ben Solo, Rey feels disconnected from the force. The galaxy is free, everyone's future is forming and Rey is left in the shadows for the time being. She wants to be herself again, wants to feel a connection again, the connection she had with Ben. After a lot of reflection of the past and the acceptance of certain feelings, Rey works towards finally finding herself. With it brings a sign of hope and comfort despite what she has lost. ~I do not own these characters, places, or background information, only the ideas and plot. So it is... ****** Please note- this takes place after TROS (The Rise of Skywalker) and includes spoilers. ****** The light inside of Rey is strong, and has been since she overcame her grandfather, Emperor Palpatine. But since learning Rey's true family and watching someone she had really been falling for die, will the darkness overtake her? Finn hurts inside, watching his closest friend fight the internal battle that she is. Rey doesn't want to confide in him or Poe, so he's left to figure out how to help on his own. Poe is the best Resistance pilot in the galaxy. Recently, he hasn't been needed as the Sith have fallen. As he struggles to figure out who he is and who he loves, he feels it. They all feel it. A disturbance in the Force. Everything is about to change. DISCLAIMER--- none of the original work belongs to me.

"We've passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight." A familiar voice, Luke's, whispers. Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. The wind gusts, pushing her hair to the side of her face. She stood at the edge of a cliff overlooking the calm blue waters that engulfed the island. Her eyes drifted closed, trying to find a sanctuary within her mind that welcomed peace. When sunset came on Jakku, Rey felt the spark of a child's hope, that her family would arrive the next day to live a life together, forever.

He smirked, he was quiet aware of the affect he had on her and hoped that in time it would be enough to switch her. They both had a struggle, with both sides pulling on them in two different directions. This fanfiction begins with the snow duel on StarKiller, but with a reylo twist... What if Ben survived? This is a story set after TROS but if Ben survived as it's been a year and I'm still not over it. This will end in the way we want it to as Reylo stans.
