The wind gusts, pushing her hair to the side of her face. She stood at the edge of a cliff overlooking the calm blue waters that engulfed the island. Her eyes drifted closed, trying to find a sanctuary within her mind that welcomed peace. When sunset came on Jakku, Rey felt the spark of a child's hope, that her family would arrive the next day to live a life together, forever.

It has been a year after the fall of the First Order and the death of Ben Solo. Rey, still struggling with guilt and the loss of Ben, travels to Tatooine to bury the lightsabers of her Skywalker masters...only to encounter the ghost of her lost Force-bondmate. Rey Nobody has taken Ben's hand, and joined him. Ben starts to train her in the way's of the force, both sides. But soon, order is disrupted. A message sent across the galaxy announces that the feared sith lord, Palpatine, has returned. Ben refuses support from Palpatine, because he would have to turn over Rey. She is able to convince Ben that they need to join forces with the Resistence, to take down the greatest evil of all. This is my first fanfiction! Please give constructive critism, I will gladly take it and try to improve. This will be a bit of a slowburn. May feature smut later on, but haven't gotten there yet. On some chapters I will put a song that I think relates to the story, I encourage you to listen! All characters belong to Disney/Lucasfilm. Artwork used isn't mine, all credit to the owners! I know why you're here. JJ really screwed up, huh? And Kathleen Kennedy, and every other nerf-herder at Disney and Lucasfilm. What was the point of this whole trilogy again? That's where I come in.

After dropping out from college to escape from the gang: The First Order, Ben Solo moves back to his hometown in order to start from scratch. While he's there he meets Rey Kenobi, spunky, and not afraid to speak her mind, she has him wrapped around her finger from day 1. But all Rey wants is a life without anyone because her walls are built so high she wants no one to knock them down.

This is kind of a rewrite of the moment between Kylo Ren and Rey, when they used their force bond to touch each other's hands. I didn't want to change it completely, I just wanted to make it a little more ~spicy~ to warm my Reylo heart. I hope you enjoy!

*Spoilers for TROS* After still being depressed about the end of TROS, I've decided to try and write something similar to a fix-it fanfic, I know I can't change the past so now I'm making a continuation of the Skywalker saga, so I hope you enjoy 🤪
