She is a strong, bold, and sweet woman who doesn't care to think of getting married and having children. That is until she meets Rhaegar Targaryen. The Dragon prince wants her to be his bride instead of her younger sister Cersei. At first the girl many call the Jewel of Casterly Rock is hesitant and unwilling, but when she sees what a life with him can get her, she is willing to submit under the will of the indigo eyed Dragon Prince. Tywin Lannister has defeated Roose Bolton at the Green Fork and is moving towards Harrenhal to establish a camp and a base of operations. Renly Baratheon is at Bitterbridge with his army, consisting of Stormlords and Tyrells. Balon Greyjoy is preparing for an invasion of the North. Stannis Baratheon is gathering his small forces at Dragonstone, while Tyrion Lannister is heading towards King's Landing to become the acting Hand of the King.

Daena and Daeron Boherys were the only ones left of House Boherys of the Old Valyria. Sworn to House Targaryen, they aided them whenever it was needed, by which Robert felt threatened seeing they has the best warriors, both men and women, in the whole of Westeros. As a result, he like a coward along with Jon Arryn, arranged their assassination. Ned Stark, who found out about their plan didn't agree with them and secretly managed to send a letter in order to warn them. But it was too late, seeing as the assassins already killed most of the members of the family. Only the new born twins were saved by a sworn shield of their household as he was the one who got the letter.
