Valarr Targaryen had lived a lifetime already, lost enough people to make his peace with the fact that he would soon be gone as well. The universe seemed to have another plan for him because while his entire family died, he remained living and breathing. Distraught and lost, he seeks refuge at Summerhall with his uncle and cousins. The council tries to call him back, but his uncle is adamant on giving Valarr three months of peace - three months of him teaching Valarr what he thinks his brother would've wanted to teach his boy. There, he forms an unlikely bond with his odd cousin Daenys.

Aegon Targaryen had another wife in addition to his two sister wives, but he kept her a secret. She was his youngest sister, Aerea Targaryen. Aerea was also a dragon rider and had many allies. When she learnt that she was expecting a child, she disappeared without a trace. She gave birth to a boy named Baelon in the year 14 AC. Together with her allies, she created a small kingdom hidden in the ruins of Old Valyria. She was able to 'recruit' the animals that had already spread out there to protect the place. A few decades later, Aegon (110 AC) and Rhae (113 AC) Targaryen were born. Will they intervene in the war? How will the others react when the two suddenly appear?
