My 7th poetry book. But in many ways this is my 1st poetry book as I will independently publish this under my own ISBN. This poetry book captures a very special time in my life. It is a time capsule of the 2 years of long distance that I am going through and this book will only be complete in November when I am finally married as the story that this book tells is one of the road leading up to marriage and all the anticipation that comes with being on that road. My heart's contents poured out before your very eyes. 27 March 2026 - The Present

The BOREDISTIC Fiddler of a LONER is a raw and introspective memoir that chronicles the tumultuous journey of a woman navigating the labyrinth of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Spanning over two decades, the narrative delves into a series of failed relationships, each leaving indelible marks on her psyche. From the sting of betrayal to the weight of insecurity, the memoir paints a vivid picture of the emotional scars borne from loving and losing. After the dissolution of a significant relationship, she retreats into solitude, seeking solace in the quietude of her own company. Embracing independence, she relocates to a top-floor apartment with a panoramic view, symbolizing her desire for a fresh start. In the same breath, she embarks on a new career path, marking the beginning of a chapter dedicated to personal growth and self-reliance. However, the allure of freedom soon gives way to recklessness. With newfound autonomy and a heightened sense of desire, she finds herself entangled in a whirlwind romance just months after vowing to remain single. This unexpected turn of events challenges her resolve and sets the stage for a deeper exploration of her desires, boundaries, and the complexities of human connection. Through candid prose and poetic introspection, The BOREDISTIC Fiddler of a LONER offers an unflinching look at the intricacies of love, loneliness, and the quest for identity. It's a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of embracing one's true self.

The world is wide, the road is long, We start our journey with a song. We seek a hand to hold so tight, To walk us through the darkest night. Conquer yourself, conquer your feelings, Look to the sky and find your healings. For love arrives with sudden grace, A beautiful, blinding, warm embrace. We give our heart, we give our all, Never thinking we might fall. But promises can sometimes break, And leave a heavy, silent ache. The hands untie, the paths divide, With tears we try so hard to hide. A broken heart is sharp and deep, It steals the stars and spoils our sleep. It feels as though the world will end, With shattered pieces left to mend. But look inside, the shadows clear, You are the one you need to hear. The pain is real, but it will pass, Like morning dew upon the grass. To heal the hurt, you must be brave, And ride the stormy, crashing wave. For love may fade and leave your side, But you remain, your own true guide. So dry your eyes and start anew, The greatest love belongs to you. And learn to dance inside the rain, Conquer yourself, conquer your pain.

Cutting open my heart to pour out how I feel. It comes down in floods of blood as words scatter on the floor in a jumbled mess or a pathetic attempt to explain my feelings. A book filled with all of my poetry. Enjoy the somewhat dark and somewhat light hearted rhyming poems that I have written.

Different mirror, different reflection, different poem. We try looking for someone who understands, but the only person who does is ourselves; our reflection. Just a conversation between us looking at ourselves through a mirror.
