{ACOTAR X READER/POC OC} - I blinked innocently, despite the fact that the lack of space between us and the way his breath is fanning across my skin makes my desire anything but chaste. "What's your problem?" The words are meant to be strong, but the cracks in my resolve are clear and make his expression shift to one of a twisted smile, calloused and yet intoxicating. "My problem," he echoes like it should be obvious, "Is that I couldn't find you-and then I had to smell you on someone else." This is insane. The conversation in the hall lasted at least a minute. "We barely talked, and it's not like I owe you anything." "Don't mention him," he growls, "And I'll show you what is owed."

When Rhysand - the fae prince that saved your life - comes to collect his bargain, she goes willingly - seeking some way out of her new life, a new place to fit in. But even as the guilt of her time Under the Mountain begins to fade, a new guilt rises to take its place and she must find a way to live in it or spend her eternity alone.
