Sa mundong kumakalansing sa ingay at pighati, si Maggie Yvelle Alcarez ay kumapit sa ritmo - ang tanging himig na hindi umaalingawngaw bilang sugat. Sa bawat indayog ng katawan ay may paglaya, at sa gitna ng katahimikan ng kanyang sayaw, sumulpot ang lalaking tila marunong makinig sa tunog ng pusong matagal nang pinipiling manahimik, Draven Ariston Dela Peña. Ngunit gaya ng musikang napuputol sa gitna ng pinakamalambing na nota, kinailangan niyang talikuran ang entabladong minsang naging tahanan nila. At sa pagbabalik, dala niya ang bagong lakas - ngunit hindi handa sa tanawing ang lalaking ninanais niyang pakasalan ay parang may bagong melodeyang nahanap sa sariling puwang sa himig ng buhay niya. Sa sandaling iyun, nagbago ang tempo ng hangin - parang ang sarili niyang pintig ay biglang hindi na kasabay ng mundo. At kahit pilitin nilang kumawala sa alon ng nakaraan, may mahinang ritmong nananatiling sumusulpot - isang bulong na hindi lumalakas, ngunit hindi rin kailanman namamatay. Sa huli, pareho silang binabalikan ng tanong na hindi mahanap ang kasagutan - Paano isinasara ang musikang hindi tinapos, kundi iniwang nakabitin sa pagitan ng dalawang puso? Paano mabibitin ang ritmong ni minsan ay hindi naputol?

Mystic Rhythms Series #1 Xacxel is his name.. the boy Chantel wants. She's been crushing on him since seventh grade. Magkaklase sila simula grade seven hanggang grade ten. Nang nakatungtung na sa senior high ay hindi na sila magkaklase dahil ang kinuha nito na strand ay ABM at siya naman ay STEM. Xacxel is the type of guy that likes music and instruments while in the other hand, Chantel likes being beautiful in his eyes. Wala itong ibang gusto kundi magpapansin kay Xacxel gamit ang kaniyang nagbubukod tanging ganda pero wala itong epekto sakaniya. Everytime they performed Chantel is always present, she's like a fan liking his idol from afar. What Chantel felt about Xacxel is one-sided. Xacxel never really notice her nor see her as if she was a ghost until she finally confessed to him and decided to move on.

I usually write stories - yes, I'm the genius (or lunatic, depending on who you ask) behind a serial-killer series where I somehow managed to shoehorn a rhyming poem into the end of each chapter. Because what's more terrifying than reading about a horrible murder, followed by some rhymes about... exactly that murder? But despite my affinity for dark tales, I've discovered I have a knack for poems too. Who knew my inner poet was just waiting to be unleashed... or should I say, unchained? Anyway. About these poems: Do they rhyme? Yes. Do they make sense? Ha! Good luck figuring that out. Are they interesting? Well, that's subjective, but I'm not holding my breath. Some are attempts to summarize poems or books I read (before I fell asleep), some are about things I experienced (or think I did), and most are just absolute nonsense poems because, why not? Also... I sprinkled a Limerick here and there. That's it. Now, go ahead and try to decipher them. Have fun (or not)!

Don't think I've matured much as an author, but i still appreciate a good cheesy poem. ♡ ♡ ♡
