Now he's a presence Taehyun can't ignore, haunting him in more ways than one. What's up everybody ? I am your writer Pranavi . Ironically enough, I'm a very planned and organized person IRL but when it comes to poetry, the words and rhythm are just spontaneous(just letting my thoughts flow yk? that's why the cover page is river) I have ordered the poems from light--> heavy. So depending on your mood and emotional state, you can read them. Don't mind the fact that I have more sad poems than the happy ones. Subconsciously, I want to write more happy poems but I'm just not in the state to do so. I hope I can get back to them soon. ~~~~ I know I have won in life when (at least one of)these poems are published in the NCERT English Textbook, posthumously (Yepp that's the end goal 😎)

what drew your attention to this book? was it the delicate red rose on the cover? ... or was it its thorns? yes, the rose is daintily alluring, but you will only notice the thorns once you take a closer look. i like to imagine my poetry as this thorned rose, my carefully arranged words as its delicate petals: its beauty seemingly pleasing from afar. however, once you take a closer look, you will gradually see the thorns: a deeper and darker meaning disguised behind enriched metaphors. looking at the rose, you would also notice how it is hand drawn, denoting the fact that my poetry might not be perfect. it is intentionally written with some incorrect grammar (for instance, how almost all words are in lowercase) to give a more raw feel in the sense of how one may write down in a personal diary. the name "the rose comes with thorns" is not only an embodiment of my poetry writing style, but also the meaning behind it. just like how everything beautiful comes with its own flaws... ...the rose shall come with its own thorns. 🥀THE ROSE COMES WITH THORNS a poetry book written by huma zafar. #1 in "poem" out of 206k stories (2/5/24) #18 in "poetry" out of 336k stories (1/6/24)

There are numerous stories hidden 'neath our consciousness, beneath the superficial.. and with that said, allow me to introduce you to my mental world...

This is my poetry that I write. It helps me to vent my feelings and emotions in such a way that I don't have to hold it all in. These poems are also stories, so read them carefully and pay attention to every line and every word. And who knows, maybe you'll find a piece of your own soul embedded in these words of mine. Most of these poems are from 14-17 year old me.

Yes, these are poems I'm gonna write myself.
