Life is a river that I slowly sink into, my body much like a paper boat, between waves of hardship I'll whisper words of hope

"We're best friends, nothing more," she said firmly. "Yeah, exactly," he replied, matching her tone •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• "Ugh... I hate you," she snapped, eyes blazing. "Feelings are mutual, babygirl," he teased, a smirk tugging at his lips. Peep to know more:)

Enter the world of Friday Night Funkin', a greatly popular rising star among all the rhythm video games, as our main protagonist Boyfriend (19, Male) has gone through his quest for romance, to win the heart of his best friend, and our deuteragonist, Girlfriend (19, Female) and to claim his best life ever, only for Daddy Dearest to ruin all their dates... by using people the couple had met to either stop Boyfriend from dating Girlfriend... or for the most extreme intent to take his life. Boyfriend and Girlfriend went through multiple occasions and obstacles in their time, however... there is 1 problem. A card game, known as "Duel Monsters", has started to become world-famous. Now most of the people in the world prefer Duel Monsters over rap battling each other, which it lets them form true bonds, and strategise intensely in a fierce duel. They who play Duel Monsters are known as "Duelists", and there are some duelists who have a spiritual manifestation of their signature monsters, known as "Duel Spirits", which are unique. Spitting bars is no longer Girlfriend's only interest at that time. She decided to quit rapping, and start a new life as a Duelist. Seeing that, Boyfriend is depressed. Beep-boop singing is his only talent, and Duel Monsters is for people who speak English. If he plays, no one would be able to understand him. However one time when he is walking on the streets, sad and afraid of losing the love of his life, he blamed "Duel Monsters", until he found a Duel Monsters card. Picking it up, Its name was "Rockin' Rapper Soul Delegol"... and the monster looked humanoid, whose hairstyle looked like Boyfriend's. This is when the card's Duel Spirit itself, "Delegol" (Kyle) appeared right in front of Boyfriend's eyes. He encouraged Boyfriend into trying Duel Monsters, and so Boyfriend enters a new journey, where instead of singing, he duels with his monsters, and with a risk of his own life, has rewards more than everything he had lost should he prevail!

In the silent reaches of space, the Silent Nebula-a force that feeds on "empty noise" and emotional numbness-has begun stealing the "Heart Melodies" of Earth's inhabitants.
