***A lot has happened in the 3 years since I've worked on this piece, and I'm so thrilled that so many of you are still finding it and posting comments. So starting this week, I'm going to try and pump out a few chapters for you all. Xoxo, Hams "Now time for the news," Jeremy began, "and we have some urgent news to get through straight off." I wanted to smack the smirk off of Jeremy's face. "I stopped to help a stranded motorist." And so the story begins... she's got the looks, the brains, and most of all the car. The story of Karen Smith, her friends, family, and how she got tangled into something much bigger and more complicated than she'd ever imagined. (And yes, this is intended to be a Top Gear fan fic... Or maybe rather a Richard Hammond one.. Don't judge me, ok?)

This wasn't supposed to make them think about it - the "it" that they had promised never to speak of again - yet it was never far from their minds, least of all when a timid voice comes over the intercom at approximately 11:15pm: "Guys, I've binned it." Or: Jeremy sees that Richard is quite shaken after their Britcar is brought back to the pits following its crash, and he tries to help his little friend out.

-- a Top Gear / the Grand Tour and Lost minific crossover -- The boys have just been in a plane crash, but aside from a few minor injuries, they're alive and okay.
