Two high school students became superheroes from a chemical explosion called the Big Bang. Virgil Hawkins gained the ability to control and generate electricity and magnetism. While his cousin, Ruby Hawkins has gained the ability to control and generate magnetism, gravity, and electricity. They began to use their new powers to fight evil, with the help of their best friends, Richie Foley and Allie Langford. As they go through their lives as heroes, they meet new Bang Babies with unique powers as they become their allies or enemies.

After defeating the monster form of Ebon and Hot-Streak Static goes to check on Teresa, who is now back to normal, and the two share a moment together.

When a strange pulse in the multiverse catches the attention of Mosi Carter / Kwaku Anansi, the god of stories himself decides to weave Dakota into his grand web - ensuring Virgil's story continues not just as a hero, but as a legend in his own way know in the Anansiverse.
