Michael and Rich knew eachother before the squip incident, they were friends even. Rich took a pill that ruined whatever they had. Trying to reclaim his past self, Rich believes he can regain whatever he and Michael once had. Hello! Thank you for clicking on this story! Michael never thought his best friend ditching him in a bathroom could have caused one of the greatest moments of his life. This is what I think would happen to Rich and the others after the musical timeline ends (after all the squips are deactivated).
