So when they get each others names it's not a big deal other than they just got home from big assignments and they both needs to chill. Lanie and Jenny takes Kate out to a club and to the same club comes Rick and his buddies, Javi and Kevin. Without knowing who the other person really are Kate and Rick bumps into together and that's when life interferes and makes it a hell of a lot harder to fulfill the mission. But Alexis has rules for her questioning. 1) describe what true love is to you by using your own words. 2) if you succeed, then you're in love. She tells everyone, she asks, the two rules, apart from her father and Kate; where she only tells them the first rule, knowing exactly what is going on between them both because she's a smart little girl who's has her own meaning of true love. What is everyone's answer? What is Alexis' answer? What happens after the questioning? [This is all in Alexis' pov. Unless I say it's someone else's.]

Somewhat based on the show Castle, well the characters, I introduce to you high school sweethearts. Imagine Kate and Rick meeting each other before he was a writer and Kate was his muse, before she was a detective or captain. Just think, what would have happened if they met in high school, and continued their love story from there. Will Rick still be a writer? Will Kate become a detective? He didn't mind being solemn and melancholy, he kind of reminded himself of Poe in that regard. He could be happy and joyful, especially when it involved his beloved daughter or his eccentric mother. What he's not used to, is being bewildered, he knows how his stories go, but he can't help but be perplexed, sitting in an interrogation room across from a woman, who seems to not hold him in any positive light. Nothing like this ever happened in his past life, but then he was a normal person in his past life who just happened to watch a show about a mystery novelist.
