Cassie Sullivan is a teenage girl who has suffered traumatic events...such as aliens invading her world and turning it upside down. After finding her brother and taking refuge in a hotel, Cassie begins to realize that Evan Walker, the man who took care of her in her darkest hours, isn't all he's cracked up to be. Can her and her friends beat the odds and survive this alien invasion? Can she find love in the process? This fanfiction takes place after The Infinite Sea, the second novel in The 5th Wave series by Rick Yancey.

After the fists few waves did their damage, Ben happens to come across a mildy destroyed drugstore, were in a chance encounter, he's reunited with a familiar face.

Fourteen year-old squad member Green looks up to no one else more than 19's squad leader, Ringer, who they all believe will lead them to victory with her sharp mind and even sharper shot on the firing range. When a new recruit arrives however, squad 19's chances of being #1 are threatened by his smart mouth and apparent hatred for everyone. Soon enough, Green finds himself, and fellow privates, making choices between themselves and their squad members, and what could become choices between life and death. But according to Ringer, "you either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain." A/N: Hey! I didn't make up this storyline! The only thing I made up are the new characters! Pretty much everything in this story belongs to Rick Yancey. This is just a companion to my favorite story :)
