However, he was probably more famous for his skills in other areas, particularly crime. So, when he strolled leisurely into the police station and announced his name with his classic smirk, it was more likely than not he was arrested on the spot for his long list of criminal charges and not his baking skills. ••••• C.C. Tinsley was a man whom few knew of, and even fewer cared about. Though, he would be lying if he said he cared. The detective believed in his job and believed in his abilities to do it well, regardless of what others thought. So, when an infamous criminal came barging into the only place he would admit to being comfortable in, demanding his presence, Tinsley was understandably surprised. ••••• Neither of the men made very many friends throughout their lives, but both made a considerable list of enemies. Ryan/Ricky has been working as a spy in the mob for years, and the boss has just caught wind of his antics. Will he leave his lover behind to make a fresh start? Two unassuming men, four extraordinary lives. ~ Ryan's life was a lie. When one of the cases he and Shane are currently investigating goes off into the deep end, Ryan learns that not everything is as it seems. He had once led a totally different life, one he doesn't remember. He had not been the best person then, murdering others and being involved in shady business. But as he uncovers more and more about the forgotten phrase of his life, he unravels secrets that will throw his life on the line. ~ Shane was just like every other average boy: cheerful, lively, ambitious. However, Shane's bright future is snatched from is grasp by the cruel hands of fate. He was badly beaten up by an unknown assailant when he decided to use a deserted alley as a shortcut. Each wave of pain brought a rising flood of screams, none of them heard. Shane had stubbornly clutched onto life, and with his dying breath he had begged for anything, anything at all that might give him a way out of his death sentence. A solution was given to him, and like any innocent child would, he took it. He had survived. He had been reborn. For now he only has one goal, find out who had almost killed him that night, and end his life. With only one clue, a calling card, Shane sets off, ending his search with a conclusion he never wanted.

When new Detective, CC Tinsley, arrives in town fresh off the train from Chicago determined to root out corruption, will infamous criminal Ricky Goldsworth confront him? Inspired by the wonderful art by @unamusedyami on Instagram, go check them out! In this Au Shane is and always has been a demon named Madej, He wasn't the demon of anything just a grunt level demon. Madej decided to check out Earth from one of his captures and retrieve missions (capturing and retrieving a dead soul of a very bad person) and he learns of the beauty of this planet and stays. Eons go by and hell forgets he left and forgets him altogether so he lives in peace on earth. He earns a job in BuzzFeed and lands a role as a ghost hunter alongside an individual named Ryan Bergara. He plays the skeptic role well besides the "believer" Ryan. Ryan is not exactly normal either, he is possessed by a 1920's Mob boss named Ricky Goldsworth. This ghost has such a similar soul to him that he just merged souls one day and hasn't been rid of him since. Ricky helps Ryan out in paranormal investigations by telling him where to look or where NOT to go. Ryan himself cannot see the ghosts or what happens around him in that sense but Ricky can, since ghosts are so common to him he only alerts Ryan on investigations or if a really bad spirit that could hurt him pops up. When their paths cross, how long will it take them to discover that neither are without their own Paranormal Problems?
