On a dreary summer day as four-year-old Stephanie and five-year-old Mae Valentine, recently moved to a new town, are bored while their parents shop at the ridiculously named "Tom's Get Sporty." The monotony is violently interrupted when they are knocked over by the Harper quadruplets-Ricky, Dicky, Dawn, and Nicky-who apologize profusely. After a quick, awkward introduction that highlights the Harpers' contrasting personalities, Dawn wins over a reluctant Stephanie by mentioning she owns Barbies. This chaotic first meeting launches an immediate friendship between the six children. Over the years that followed, this initial, accidental bond deepened into an inseparable connection, and as Stephanie spent more and more time with the Harper siblings, she secretly developed a growing crush on the ever so anxious chef, black-haired quad, Nicky.

Zicky was the youngest out of the just a few years younger, she loved to do theater for her school. She has a best friend named Caleb Wheeler, they've been friends since they were in diapers. She loves all her siblings but she has a closer bond to Dicky and Nicky.
