Trent Newman is a Seniour at East Bridge High School. Hes of course the jerk, player, manwhore, shag-alot, quarter back. All the girls want him and his best friend's hang downs all the guys want their looks. Trent has been in love with Josie Stark ever since he first layed eyes on her back in 7th grade, but the problem is she doesn't know and she loves her ex boyfriend, Collin. She is labeled the black sheep of their family as she passionately go along with what makes her happy. A literal trouble maker and rule breaker not until she met Tyler Khalil Ortiz the lead guitarist of the band "Virtuoso".

Alison Mercer believes that everyone has a place. Everything happens for a reason. After years of friendship with Sodapop Curtis, Alison stops believing in chances. She starts believing in something stronger. Of course, other than her extremely complicated relationship with Soda, she is a proud member of the Greaser gang.
