Don't expect anything big for this first story. I'm over here trying my best for a first story so bare with me with names and stuff Gay and straight shippings galore. Maybe I'll shove a few half stories in there of my baby. I'll try my best bit to make it not a self insert hhhh. Recommend you read the Splatoon manga and play the game or watch some play throughs

One and a half years have passed since Team Chaos won the Final Splatfest in Inkopolis Square, a sun-scorched desert inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings, and Splatsville, a city that developed rapidly since Team Chaos won the Final Splatfest Upon entering Splatsville, an Inkling named Ranger follows the elderly squid Craig Cuttlefish down a sewer with his Salmonid friend Smallfry (also known as his "Little Buddy") find themselves in a crater covered with a lethal, Fuzzy Ooze and must fight Octarians covered in fur; Cuttlefish enlists Ranger as Agent 3 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon and tasks him with recovering the once-again-missing Great Zapfish, which powers Splatsville! As they travel down the crater, they attempt to contact Agents 1 and 2, Callie and Marie of the Squid Sisters, to pick them up. However, their conversation is wiretapped by the Octarian leader DJ Octavio, who accuses Cuttlefish of taking his Octarian warriors and denies taking the Zapfish. After defeating DJ Octavio, the ground breaks open, sending Ranger, and his Smallfry falling into the remains of an underground city known as "Alterna", also covered with the Fuzzy Ooze and containing a massive rocket at the center. They meet Callie, Marie, and Captain Pearlie (who also happens to be Ranger's friend and Marie's wife), who ask them to explore the city of Alterna and find Cuttlefish!
