Welcome or welcome back, everyone! This is the continuation book of "The other side of a glass tank"! Starting after the introduction of Ignihyde Arc. ^^ If you haven't, please go over the prior book first! And while there's many chapters, I'd like to mention they're all relatively short- hence there's no need to fear. But what about this sequel? ~~~~~//$\\~~~~~ Unwilling to acknowledge the deteriorating conditions of their gifted magical artifact, the Reader will push themselves with the intention of protecting those dear to them from the events befalling the NRC students and those around. But the cracks get bigger, along with the responsibilities and emotions that weight on the beloved Professor. A voice speaks of ill events- but what will actually happen? A Twisted Wonderland fanfic in which the young Octavinelle trio, while taking shelter in an aquarium, meets the Reader by coincidence and gets attached to them through the time shared together. After years spent bonding with each other, the three mers finally get accepted into NRC. What will happen once the Reader, who has just gotten their hands on a magical object from the sea, gets summoned as well, a year later? It will take time, but each event only brings the inevitable closer. And someone... needs to speak up. ~~~~~//$\\~~~~~ (The actual game lore will start after a certain number of chapters.) "Ryan Enders?" "It's Rielle," I correct. He glances at the paper, then at me. "But... you're a girl." "That is correct." "And you want a job in a boys' reform school?" Rielle never been one to give up. So when her older brother, Ryder, goes off the deep end, abusing drugs and even attempting suicide, Rielle isn't surprised to be the only one who still sees the soft skin that used to wipe away her tears, the strong arms that used to have pillow fights. Thanks to the new charges brought against him, though, Ryder will be spending the next six months at Halloway-Critchlow Reform School for Boys. With their dad caught up in his new campaign for mayor and on the verge of disowning Ryder, Rielle knows she has to do something to help Ryder and get back to the brilliant person she knows he still is inside. So she does what any good sister would do: she takes a job at a boys' reform school. It's nothing like she expected, though. It's not a fairytale land of recovery, the boys aren't all helping each other get better, enemies can be made with just a single glance, and there are questions you just don't ask. And everyone seems to be hiding something. From Cameron, the autistic boy who spends all of his time visiting Halloway-Critchlow; to the boy known simply as "Chevy" who seems to have it out for Rielle from the moment she arrives; and Cale, Ryder's mysterious roommate who somehow seems different from the others. Ryder may be the one there for a recovery, but he won't be the only one changing. Can someone ever really start over? Is it the past itself that matters, or how someone uses it to shape their future?

Oliver White was the Alpha's son. Rielle Carter was the Beta's daughter. When their pack is threatened, Oliver's father, accompanied by Rielle's father and brother, leave to protect their territory. But they were outnumbered. This leaves Oliver as the new Alpha with no experience and Rielle as his Beta. Desperate to keep her father's legacy alive, before she had even turned, Rielle asks Oliver to help her, to train her. What happens when she turns and everything comes crashing down around her?
