Harper's whole life was flipped inside out and back right again when she learned her father had been using her as a project. But, even with her new information, her past still had lots of holes. The Rift details the epic quest of two rag-tag heroes to save their system from utter domination. It all began when Jard and Keena, two mercenaries, were tasked by their employers to steal a prototype weapon from their system's most dreaded regime, The Dark Star Alliance. The weapon, called the "metacore", housed strange, mysterious power capable of granting uncanny ability to whomever wielded it. The mercenaries, however, were unaware of the core's power, but soon came to realize that it could be the end of their system's freedom. Along with various strange companions, Jard and Keena set forth on a mission to protect their homeland from those who would ruin it.

The Doctor and Rose crashed. They fell through the void and ended up in a world stranger than their normal dimension. They meet the Pines. The twins tell them everything in order to have everything normal once again. At first glance, Bill seems like a easy thing to defeat. Another poetry/short story (pory) collection. Didn't think this fit with my Potpourri Poetry collection, so thought I would start another.

"Maybe we'll start with the day the sky split open. There was this sound, like a vicious explosion that shook the building and threatened to split our eardrums. I was the first to my feet, I raced the others to the deck and we gawked at the scene before our eyes. Out over the ocean, a tear, a festering wound in the sky." In a flooded world full of mutant fish and frighteningly adept killers known as "riftmen" Hugh Jericho wakes up naked in a tiny village full of strange people and he has no idea how he got there. He's told, however, that he was fished out of the ocean by a team of people exploring the outer perimeter of the rift. As he gets to know the people around him, he relives his past through story telling and the dark secrets of the rift are revealed.

When interdimensional warriors Kei and Commander Teri discover an ancient, unstable rift that connects to a legendary universe, they embark on an adventure that could alter their destinies and the fate of both worlds. As they cross into the Dragon Ball universe, they find themselves in a realm where ki energy reigns supreme, and power levels defy the limits of reality. Joining forces with iconic heroes, Kei and Teri must learn to harness new powers and face fierce battles, all while unraveling the mystery behind the rift that threatens to destroy everything they hold dear.
