Maxi's emotions have rarely caused her anything but pain and suffering. She can't take it anymore and runs away, thinking her family will be safer without her. Using dark magic, she shuts off her emotions, her humanity. Nothing will hurt her ever again. She makes a new life for herself working alongside the one who pulled her into this more dangerous side of magic. Will Riftan be able to help her remember the joy that she lost or is she truly safest when she feels nothing? *cover art @Balaneth

Despite being a shy and stuttering invalid, everyone seems to think she's the key to love, influence, and travelling to exotic places. Cheers to hoping she makes it to her sophomore year.
