#2 in 'right path' on 1/7/18 #58 in 'Islamic' on 26/6/18 #66 in #rockstar on 27/6/18 Have you committed a sin, that later made you realize, was not at all affordable for you? Do you regret it? Do you think you would be able to earn forgiveness? Will Allah really forgive you?..... Sometimes we only 'expect' when we love someone, whether it be a person or Allah. We forget that we must have something to offer too, and what it is? It is faith! Our lives are more than the fairytale love stories we dream of, luxuries we adore and things we long for. We are humans, we are never perfect, we sin, we are unthankful....and sometimes it all gets worse...So are my characters, Hareem and Zohaib, they are not role models, they are learners who like us learn all the way through their journey of life. In this story you will find them sinning, complaining, regretting, loosing, becoming helpless, falling, struggling and succeeding. They were meant to suffer, to feel pain, to struggle, they were not lovers... Their journey is like ours, real, painful and the one with a lot of lessons! Their fates interwove but not in a way you have been reading or hearing before....it was different, it was realistic, unlike a fairytale...where is "Love" then? yes that's the right question...it is in the story preserved for you to read...a story with Quran in it, a story with the blessings of Allah AND.... a story of 'Love'....

Has this ever happened to you? You read a passage or two from a book, and you just can't stop yourself from finishing it.. You take one sip from a drink, and helplessly gulp down the whole glass.. You start reading Harry Potter, and you just have to read the whole series (bad example, but makes one understand the point easily). Why does that happen, by the way? One sip can convince you enough to drink a large glass of a certain drink. One passage, and you're ready to go through the whole book, regardless of its thickness. Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "A breath of Jahannum" By Asma bint Shameem Last week, it was extremely cold....cold beyond imagination. It was so cold, they said these were temperatures we haven't seen in more than a decade. Pipes froze and burst, many people lost electricity and some even died. There was ice everywhere...ice on the cars, ice on the trees, ice on the on the grass. When the arctic wind blew, it cut through to the bone. It hit across the face and numbed whatever it touched. And as I felt the chilling effects of these below-freezing temperatures, I thought of Jahannum. Yes, Jahannum. Now, why would I remember Jahannum, one might ask, in this Siberian weather? Isn't Jahannum fiery, burning and hot? Yes. But, although Jahannum is a place known for its unimaginable heat, scorching blazes and sweltering fires, there are also places within it that are extremely cold, frigid and chilling. So frigid are these places that it would burn and scorch and torture a person just as the severest fire would and worse. And this extreme state of coldness in Jahannum is called Zamhareer.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart "Falling in Love" By Amatullah Kareem I was a typical teenager and believed in everything my friends did. I grew up reading magical fairytales that always had a handsome prince falling in love with a princess and carrying her off into the sunset to live happily ever after. I watched Snow White and Cinderella that all focused on "falling in love" and "having a good life." And I too grew up believing this is what life is all about. This is why we are here - to find the perfect soul mate and live happily ever after. I was addicted to reading novels that told me an exciting, romantic life was the essence of our existence, that spoke of gorgeous women, enticing dashing men before they zoomed away in their private yacht to an exotic island.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "Some LAME excuses people use for not going to Hajj" By Asma bint Shameem Excuse # 1: I am too busy with Work Some people delay Hajj because they say they can't find time to take off from work. But don't they see the very fact that they didn't take time out for Hajj is the reason why Allaah kept them so busy with work? The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: "Allah says: 'Son of Adam: Fill your time with My worship and I will fill your heart with richness, and end off your poverty. But if you don't, I would make your hands fully busy (i.e. in worldly affairs) and I would not end off your poverty.'" (At-Tirmidhi said that it is a good hadeeth) And he said: "Verily Allah tests His servant with what He has given him. So whoever is content with whatever he has been assigned, then Allah will bless him in it, and give him more! But whoever is not content (with what he has been given), then he will not be blessed in it." (Ahmad-saheeh). If you make your intention sincerely for the sake of Allaah and do your best to take time from work, Allaah will provide it for you. "And whoever fears Allaah, He will make for him an easy way out and provide for him sustenance from sources he could never imagine. Whoever places his reliance upon Allaah, Allaah will suffice Him. Indeed Allaah is one who can achieve His purpose and He has appointed a measure for everything." (Talaq:2-3)

How it happened was nothing less than a miracle. And whoever played a part in it, is not hidden from Allah. May Allah reward everyone involved for their intentions, du'as and efforts in making this happen. And my special prayers for our beloved teacher: Dr. Farhat Hashmi (referred to as Ustadha, Arabic word for 'female teacher'). May Allah have Mercy on her, be pleased with her, forgive her her shortcomings, increase her ranks in Jannah, give us the opportunity to 'chill' with her in her personal garden in Jannah, and let us be a sadqah jariyah for her (as huge as possible). Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "It Happened Last Friday - A True Story" By Asma bint Shameem The Khutbah had already started. She knew that she was late, but she wanted to attend the Jumuah prayers anyway. She quickly picked up her baby and stepped anxiously into the Masjid, looking to the right and left. After all, she had just moved to the area and didn't know anybody. As she sat down in the Sister's Prayer Hall with the baby in her lap, her heart was thumping in her chest. She could feel curious eyes turn in her direction, but she stared hard at the ground, too nervous to meet their gaze and tried to concentrate on what the Imam was saying. But her baby was nervous too. He didn't know this new place....all these new faces. He had never been in a Masjid before. He wanted to go home. She knew her baby would be uncomfortable in the new setting, but she thought she would manage. She herself had not been very 'practicing' all her life, but now that she was a mother herself, she felt the importance of an Islamic upbringing. She was determined to teach her baby all about Islam right from the very beginning, but first she had to work on herself. She wanted to learn, too. But the baby was getting restless and she could see that he had started to whimper. Yet, she hoped she could console him long enough to last through the Prayer. However, as the Imam started the recitation of the Qur'an, she was not prepared for the loud howl that her baby let out, nor the hysterically loud sobbing that accompanied it. Oh my GOD! What a terrible noise he was making! What could she do??!!!
