"Wait!" Someone gently grabs my hand, "You dropped this." I turn around, and my eyes widen when I see the most gorgeous boy ever. He carefully places something in my hand, and I gasp. It was my shiny golden bracelet! "Oh my god, t-thank you...so much! I would've been devastated if I'd lost this. I'm so glad I found you- no- you found me- I mean the bracelet!" He laughs, and his smile goes all the way up to his beautiful, blue eyes. I quickly look down, feeling my face turn red in embarrassment. "you're welcome," he says. "um, do you think we could maybe-" just then, the subway doors start closing, and I shout, "sorry, gotta go!" He reaches out towards the door, but then stops himself, and just watches the train pull away. I see his beautiful blond hair sway slightly in the fast-moving air, and I can't help but wonder if I'll ever see him again. Author's Note: If you're reading this, just keep in mind that I've included some swearing in my writing. It's not a lot, but if you aren't comfortable with that, then either skip over them, or just don't bother reading this. Thanks!

Ethan Carter and Millie Preston had their initial encounter when she took up residence in the apartment adjacent to his. Millie, a warm-hearted, outgoing, and free-spirited small-time singer, stood in stark contrast to Ethan, a composed and introverted Quantum Physicist known for his intellectual acumen. Despite their apparent disparities, a profound friendship blossomed between them. As fate would have it, they embodied the classic archetype of being the 'right person at the wrong time.' The question remains: are they destined for one another? Could they potentially be each other's end game? Will they uncover their elusive 'happily ever after,' if such a concept truly exists? The answers lie ahead, awaiting discovery within these pages.
