Choi Hyeeun, twenty-one years old, lives a life between her toxic past relationship, her ex, her medecine studies, caffeine and her own health both mental and physical. But somehow, in the midst of this chaos she found him, Park Sunghoon. Or rather life imposed him to her. Sunghoon was known as quiet and cold but it didn't prevent the other students to gossip about his looks, his grades or skills for photography. He's either alone or makes himself look busy to not get bothered by others until the day he gets paired up with Hyeeun in a school project for the philosophy class they shared. Two strangers who once faced love differently are now forced to work together and figure out if love can heal someone. Or themselves.

Sienna, a first-year university student, transfers to a new residence midway through the year after a rough start elsewhere. She's quiet, observant, and a bit emotionally guarded-until she meets Cassion, her new residence advisor. He's a fourth-year kinesiology behavioral science major-mature, grounded, and kind in a way that doesn't try too hard. From the beginning, there's something unspoken between them. Cassion notices her quietness, her thoughtfulness, and offers subtle support-smiles, simple check-ins, small acts of care. Sienna, in turn, begins to feel safe around him. Their connection is slow and careful, almost invisible to others, but deeply real to them. Despite the RA/resident boundary, feelings begin to grow-softly and respectfully. They don't rush. They don't confess anything prematurely. But there are shared looks, lingering moments, and quiet closeness that builds trust and affection. Eventually, after his role as RA ends and the timing is right, they allow themselves to fully explore what they feel. When Cassion's grandmother passes away, Sienna becomes his emotional anchor, staying by his side through his grief. Though she doesn't attend the funeral, she offers comfort in the ways she knows best-by simply being present. Their relationship deepens after that. Sienna moves into Cassion's apartment. They learn how to live together-celebrating the quiet joys of domestic life. Later, they find out they're expecting a baby. From a hesitant beginning to shared lives and a growing family, their journey is one of patience, timing, and choosing each other again and again.

If this is your first time here, you should read The Night We Met first, since this story is a sequel to it. Sequel of The Night We Met: Four years after a quiet café goodbye in the rain, Lee Sangwon and Zhou Anxin meet again - not as fragile university boys, but as grown men with steady careers and carefully rebuilt hearts. Anxin has built a life in Tokyo. He teaches composition, lives peacefully, and loves gently. The storm that once defined him has softened into calm. Sangwon arrives as a guest vocal professor for one semester - carrying regret, longing, and a love he never truly put down. But this time, the roles are reversed. Anxin is no longer waiting. Sangwon is the one yearning. With Tokyo as their backdrop - autumn streets, late-night studio sessions, and the quiet hum of trains - they must confront what was left unfinished. Can love return stronger after time and distance? Or does timing decide everything? Some songs don't end. They wait for the second verse. Started: 02.15.2026. Ended: ?
