"you will die if I don't marry you? is that what you're saying?" she looks up to meet his tall frame. he chuckles, "iʼm already almost a century dead, darling." hse narrows her eyes at his smiling form. "you know what I meant, jeong hyeok-ssi." a sigh escapes his chapped lips at the sound of his name. "yes." ~~~ Enthralled by its cheap price, 32 year old Seri moves into a gigantic mansion, allegedly haunted by the mysterious piano ghost, as told by an urban legend. he can see her, she can see him. he can hear her, she can hear him. he can feel her, and so can she. but this mysterious piano ghost can not touch her. yet. The moment he can, a buried secret will make its way up to their lives after nearly a century, changing both of their lives for better or worse- only time will tell. Ri Jeong Hyeok has been cursed for an eternity eversince the summer of 1917, when one fateful night, he saw something he shouldn't have. upon his arrival to his house, he finds his fiancé dead, leading him to try and take his own life too. but before he can, a twist in the rope of fortune stops him dead in his tracks. instead of taking his life, the grim reaper makes a deal with him- to find his bride in this life, only then, can death be granted to him, something that he has been longing for all this time. little does he know, a certain woman with an eye smile that tugs at his heart every time he sees her, will eventually become the reason he wishes to stay alive. but are things really that easy?

'Two weeks before leaving for Switzerland, Se-ri finds herself sick. She's claimed over by an unexpected wave of nausea every morning, and attributes it to a stomach bug, or the stress she's undergoing for the new store launch, or even the lack of sleep and regular meals she's been skipping sometimes, unbeknownst to Jeong-hyuk.' As they spend twelve months away from each other, longing, tirelessly counting the days until they would be together again, how would Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Se Ri make up for lost time? For two weeks. Just two sweet weeks. That's all they got to spend. Is two weeks really enough? Until when will it suffice? Especially when there are two more others involved. A Father's Longing is an epilogue to Crash Landing on You, a story of how Captain Ri and Yoon Se Ri made their setup work. And will they be able to keep it working? A/N: Initially planned for this to be just a one-shot but then I figured maybe I would just split it into two parts. Or three perhaps. We'll see ♡
