Hinode Ayaka, along with her friend Satoru, were killed in an accident. When she woke up, she realises she has been reincarnated as a Dragon. While searching for Mikami Satoru, she comes across the sealed Storm Dragon Veldora. Veldora then bestows the names Rimuru Tempest and Aruna Tempest on them in order to grant them divine protection. Aruna takes the decision to embrace her new life. He wishes to create a world in which everyone can live comfortably. She wishes to support and guide him on his pursuit for his dream. However, fate played tricks on her because this world seemed more familiar to her than she had anticipated.
