Under the bright lights of the circus, I (the clown) play my role with a perfect smile, a joke meant to be laughed at, and simply exist for the show. But offstage, my heart belongs to the one person---the ringmaster. To him, everything is a performance. Every word, every glance, every moment of closeness-just another act. As the line between reality and illusion begins to blur, the clown is forced to face a devastating truth: they were never loved... only played. Because in this circus, even fools can be fooled.
