Despite there being many things that made me raise my eyebrows, I did find something I liked that inspired me to write something that was Middle Earth related, but not The Rings of Power related. Still, I was surprised because I'm not fond of the actress or Disa's accent, but I did love her telling Durin IV that Elrond will stay for dinner. I also see Durin IV/Elrond becoming popular because of their interactions. anyways, here is the one-shot.

It started in the meadow. I can't get over the chemistry Galadriel and Halbrand had so I decided to spill what I feel in here! Haven't written in such a long time so this is going to be rusty. Still, I hope you guys like it.

The Hobbits know what Tolkien would think, even if some of the race of Men do not. Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth, and contrary to what the cast says, we fans of Middle Earth are allowed to say what we think of Tolkien's lore not being respected the way it should have been. And for me, it's coming in the form of satire, but anybody else who wants to do the same - you're free to do so. Just please, don't bash the individuals who like Rings of Power, particularly since some of them this will be, unfortunately, their first experience with Tolkien. Which, part of the reason I finally settled on doing it this way is that I know there are going to be some who don't know what's going on, and I'd like for them to actually be interested in checking out Middle Earth stuff that isn't Rings of Power. And this reflection is based on one of the Hobbit cast members asking what Tolkien would think of her, the Harfoot which means she's still clueless that the Harfoot aren't the ancestors of the Hobbit but a type of Hobbit. Oh, and let's not pretend Tolkien who hated the adaptions done when he was alive would be okay with this one.

This is my second piece helping me get out some of my thoughts regarding The Rings of Power series. When a company tells me they're ethnically diversifying the cast to reflect the world around us, I don't think, "hey, I'm finally represented because all that representation that's come before doesn't count." Instead, the first thought of a non-white person is to think, "Uh-oh. What unintentional negative message is going to sneak its way into the narrative that I didn't want." And actually seeing some of these unintentional messages already present in the promotional material is major cringe for me.

Eowyn is a daughter of horse lords, a shield-maiden of the mighty nation of Rohan. As the darkness of Mordor continues to overtake the lands of Middle-earth, she finds herself losing hope for herself and her country. She decides to stowaway as an undercover soldier as her uncle, the king, and his army goes to aid the armies of Gondor. Though there may not be much hope for winning this war, she aspires to die nobly while fighting for her land and world - except she does not find death, but finds a surprising alternative ending with something else entirely: hope. The end of "The Return of the King" as told from Eowyn's perspective.

I called," he swallowed, "and cried and begged for you to be safe." Galadriel turned away, lest he see her glistening eyes. Let the night be over, for she couldn't bear this. "I survived. I always do," she answered bitterly.

A fanfic inspired by the last episode of Rings of Power. This is your spoiler alert!

Galadriel speaks with a young writer who lets the wise one see parts of their story. Disclaimer - I don't own Middle Earth. This was written for Froday amnesty for August 2022 for prompt 11.25 - Somebody to Love, and - well, there's no getting around the fact Celeborn's absence from the trailers for Rings of Power which may be a complete erasure of his character - it does bother me. It's not the only thing that bothers me, but I also think there is an underestimation of the kind of domino effect a single change to the lore could have.

The events in this story take place beside the War of the Rings and in its aftermath. Millenia ago the handmaiden Ilmarë brought a gift to the world of men and foretold of its heiress. And of great need among all races after the darkest of times. Shipwrecked on a small island, Éomer vows protection for a stranger. Neither speaks the other's language. When a dark army invades, they flee to the safety of his principality in Aldburg. But enemies hunt them. Unraveling why sends them on a journey to the southlands, to Gondor, to Elven domains, and to the ravaged northern country.

"I feel at peace here." Halbrand says simply. But heaviness lies on what he omits. His peace cannot last. "Treasure it for you will depart soon. Your place is in the Southlands, by your people." It's an assertion to herself too. She feels the weight her sentence carries. Reminding him of his duty is a familiar refrain, only now the gravity settles. Now there are people to guide; what they need is a king. "My place is with you." Eregion, after Halbrand is healed. The fate of the rings is decided between stolen kisses and promises.

A story about every RING OF POWER (Middle-earth, of course). Have fun, this is my first book, so small mistakes will probably appear, so please don't be so critical 😅(All stories are made up)

What happens if Adar didn't actually die at his children's hands? Sauron decides to spare Adar's life, both because he wants his former subordinate back, and because he wants to use him to draw out Galadriel. Can Galadriel come to Adar's rescue and defeat Sauron? And what kind of a relationship will they be able to have if she does? As a side note, the story is called My Strange Persephone, because that's what Sauron calls Adar here. I kinda see them as being like Hades and Persephone (Sauron is a demon; Adar is an elf that was stolen from Lindon...), so that's where that comes from. Most of the story is based on the events of season two. Finally, fair warning, the story does get dark in places, but will conclude with a happily ever after for Adar and Galadriel.

This is an Elondriel (ElrondxGaladriel) fic obviously does not follow canon it will be a slow burn story I have most of the story planned I just need to write it in slow so sorry about that -summary- The mutal pinning of Galadriel and Elrond as they figure out happiness together. Elrond has always had the biggest crush on Galadriel and Celeborn knew so they made an agreement.

Nori Brandyfoot never experienced worse than her village burning down in flames. Her mother, father, and little sister Dilly get completely separated from her during the tragic fire too. She manages to find her best friend Poppy though once they escape. Even though her life has been turned upside down, Nori must work together with Poppy to find food, shelter, and most of all a way to survive - as just a harfoot.
