"I feel at peace here." Halbrand says simply. But heaviness lies on what he omits. His peace cannot last. "Treasure it for you will depart soon. Your place is in the Southlands, by your people." It's an assertion to herself too. She feels the weight her sentence carries. Reminding him of his duty is a familiar refrain, only now the gravity settles. Now there are people to guide; what they need is a king. "My place is with you." Eregion, after Halbrand is healed. The fate of the rings is decided between stolen kisses and promises.

Disa is gifted the gift of meeting her descendants. Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth, nor do I own Disa from The Rings of Power. When I first saw Disa, I thought - cool, a princess from Harad. And then - then I learned she was a Dwarf, and I connected the name Disa to Dis and thought to myself, "So wait, Thorin, his sister, and his nephews are Black now? I thought this was supposed to be a prequel to the trilogy?" It's not a prequel, though, but now that I know where she fits in - I realized that seven of the thirteen Dwarf companions now have Black ancestry. And Gimli now has Black ancestry. And Dain now has Black ancestry. And I dug a little further and realized that three more of the Dwarves could be traced to the line of Durin, so ten of the thirteen companions now have Black ancestry, not just seven. This in turn would mean the Dwarves would represent Black people unfairly imprisoned by white people even though they were trespassing, and Gimli and Legolas' friendship would become all about how the white Elf is wrong for being prejudiced against the Black Dwarf. And I know I'm thinking way ahead, but this is something I don't want. But supposedly because I'm not white, this is what I'm supposed to want? Nope.

Durin IV doesn't need his wife to speak for him. Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth. Yet another thing I noticed about the promotional material is how Durin the IV needs Disa to have agency despite being a Dwarf. And so I gave him agency in this flash piece. Edit - I realized there might be some missing context for those who've not seen the trailer, but I'll start with the relevant lore. Every Durin is named Durin because they are noted as being like the first Durin, yet Disa is effectively telling Durin that one day he'll be recognized by his people despite the fact him carrying the name Durin means he already is.

A rudimentary rewrite of the Rings of Power. Our overlords, headed by the Dark Lord Bezos, have sullied The One Tolkien's prophecy. I present to you my head-cannon rewrite of the show. I also will be using more source material than the bastardized show, but even with my best effort of research and understanding of the Silmarillion et cetera, I cannot promise my retelling will take into account every ounce of lore that has ever been written of Ea. Note: My prose and linguistic skills will never rival the likes of Tolkien, but I have a deep appreciation and care for his storytelling. I will try my best to give respect to his original works and tone but just know that (I believe) no one has ever rivaled his skill, therefore mine will be no different. At least I am not motivated by turning a profit by commodifying a deeply spiritual legendarium carefully crafted by one of the best artists of all time. Gimli introduces Legolas to the mother of Fili and Kili. Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth or The Rings of Power. Despite there being many things that made me raise my eyebrows, I did find something I liked that inspired me to write something that was Middle Earth related, but not The Rings of Power related. Still, I was surprised because I'm not fond of the actress or Disa's accent, but I did love her telling Durin IV that Elrond will stay for dinner. I also see Durin IV/Elrond becoming popular because of their interactions. anyways, here is the one-shot.

Was there war after sauron's death?

Galadriel speaks with a young writer who lets the wise one see parts of their story. Disclaimer - I don't own Middle Earth. This was written for Froday amnesty for August 2022 for prompt 11.25 - Somebody to Love, and - well, there's no getting around the fact Celeborn's absence from the trailers for Rings of Power which may be a complete erasure of his character - it does bother me. It's not the only thing that bothers me, but I also think there is an underestimation of the kind of domino effect a single change to the lore could have.

What happens if Adar didn't actually die at his children's hands? Sauron decides to spare Adar's life, both because he wants his former subordinate back, and because he wants to use him to draw out Galadriel. Can Galadriel come to Adar's rescue and defeat Sauron? And what kind of a relationship will they be able to have if she does? As a side note, the story is called My Strange Persephone, because that's what Sauron calls Adar here. I kinda see them as being like Hades and Persephone (Sauron is a demon; Adar is an elf that was stolen from Lindon...), so that's where that comes from. Most of the story is based on the events of season two. Finally, fair warning, the story does get dark in places, but will conclude with a happily ever after for Adar and Galadriel.

I finished watching rings of power a week ago. Didn't really like it but I think Halbrand was written well. Probably the only good part about that shitshow lol OBVIOUS SPOILER WARNING Anyway I think there was a spark between halbrand and galadriel BTW what copyright option do I press for this?

This is an Elondriel (ElrondxGaladriel) fic obviously does not follow canon it will be a slow burn story I have most of the story planned I just need to write it in slow so sorry about that -summary- The mutal pinning of Galadriel and Elrond as they figure out happiness together. Elrond has always had the biggest crush on Galadriel and Celeborn knew so they made an agreement.

Lenthel is the daughter of Maglor and, with her brothers, the last descendants of Fëanor after Celebrimbor's death. Born in Himring in the First Age, she gets a taste of war and hard life with no hope. Years pass, and then she travels with her brothers in Lindon, but little did they know that Beleriand is going to sink in the Sea, killing their mother and wandering-on-the-shores father. In second age she becomes a great huntress and war hero, but she finds someone that catches her eye in Eregion. Lenthel and her companions are Middle-Earth's unknown heroes and healers, but in order to do so they pass trough a lot. What is their story? I apologise in advance for any lack of description or fancy words that could raise the enjoyability of the story. My first language is not English and i am not really advanced. But i try my best and learn in the process:)
