Y/N is finally able to convince her mom to let her move back to Iwatobi for the last two years of high school. Her mom rents her an apartment close to school and the Matsuoka residence. Y/N's mom and Mrs. Matsuoka have been close for a while, bonding over the tragic loss of their husbands. Back in Iwatobi Y/N reconnects with her childhood friends Haru, Mako and Nagisa. The four hadn't seen each other since Y/N's mom was offered a promotion causing them to move to Tokyo. Y/N is happy to be back, but the absence of her fourth friend- Rin- is one that she feels deeply. The three Iwatobi boys tell her how Rin is back, swimming at another school and how he's changed. What will happen when Y/N and Rin reconnect? Note: In this fanfic, not a lot is much different from the Free! we all fell in love with. The only notable thing I feel I should mention is I am going to have Samezuka be a co-ed boarding school. While Haru, Makoto and Rin want to pursue something that involves swimming, she is not able to do that. So she goes to the next best thing: art. But the problem is if she wants to jump right into work or just get her art degree, hoping that it will help her more. But that's not all. She meets more people along the way, new faces and old faces. And another person pops back into the picture as well. Someone who she is terrified to see. Will she be able to get the closure she needs before graduating high school? Or is she still going to stay in the dark about it?
