sick • rinxharu Haru and Rin have been friends since they were younger, and separated for a while. Rin returns back from his "break", and the boys feel something different between each other. But, there's always been no time for them to talk, and things slowly start to go awkward. Can Haru save their friendship and all will be fine, or get something else he had always wanted.

A year after the regional and Haru has not heard a word about Rin, thinking that Rin went back to the way he was, not caring about them and wanting to leave them. What will happen to Haru if they meet again after the heart-breaking events that have occurred between them in the past? Will Haru still feel the same as he did back then, or have his feelings changed? Come and find out what will happened to the two, as they meet each other and the events following it.

Ever since he was a little kid, Haru hid how he truly felt about his best friend, Rin. The two bonded over their love of swimming; it had made them feel connected. Upon the day Rin arrived back to Japan from Australia, Haru finally mustered the courage to confess to him. Rin however, challenges him to a race before anything could be said. As the latter won, Rin was infuriated, leaving Haru once again. As years pass, Haru tries to forget about his heartache, but was met face to face yet again with a familiar stranger, Rin. Would Haru finally be set free from the chains of Rin's cruel heart holding him captive? Or will he be forced to heal his own brokenness?

This is a very short story, but I really liked it and I wanted to post, so here I am! It's a little oc from the original Free universe, but I wanted to write something cute to recover from the angst I have been reading. The ship in this story is Rin x Haru from Free!!, please don't hate. If you don't like this ship, don't read. Maybe, in the future, I will eventually upload more one-shots, so stay tuned! Haru loves Rin. He could never leave him, but Rin is violent. He beats him and his words spew venom, but the next day its always okay, he always apologizes and brings him his favorite flowers. It always goes okay. Makoto can see his friend's spirit dying, and desperately tries to get him to leave him, falling for him in the promise, but Haru continues to live in this hostile environment. Rin finally snaps as he learns Haru kissed Makoto, and that was the most flowers Haru ever gotten.. at his funeral. Too bad he wasn't there to enjoy them
