Kendra Ripples is a normal 15 year old. she goes to school at Westmaster high school as a sophmore. she has a boyfriend , Nicklaus (Klaus) Grinty, who is a football player. he is not just any football player though. he is the captain. She later meets a guy who is new to her school. He was that weird kid who no one wanted to talk to. but he was cute. His name is Kayden Anderson. It took matter of days when Kendra's life was turned upside down. How..? you ask? Read this suspenseful and romantic story to find out.

As it grew, I realized it wasn't just their story-it was all our stories. It's about the invisible connections we forge, the moments we hold onto, and the ways we leave pieces of ourselves in the lives of others. Ripples of Home is not just about friendships or family. It's about the in-betweens-the silences, the glances, the unsaid words that carry as much weight as the spoken ones. It's about finding beauty in the mundane and meaning in the unnoticed. This book is not perfect, nor does it aim to be. It's simply an offering-a small ripple in the vast lake of stories, hoping to reach someone who might find a little piece of themselves within these pages.

Inspired by real events and people in the author's life, "Ripples" is told in a series of vignettes, following around several people who are being currently impacted by Maxxie's choice.

TRIGGER WARNING: Suicide The title "Ripples" comes from the idea of throwing a rock into a smooth, calm pond and then it causes waves or: ripples. In this short story (which I wrote for gr9 english) the main character, Carter creates ripples until eventually he cannot handle it anymore. There will not be a second part but idk how to make it stop saying that this is an ongoing story sooo I hope you enjoy my short story :)

Water... What is water? Is it fiery and courageous? Angry and strong? Is it calm and silent? Beautiful and colorful?

I wrote this right after I lost someone I loved in a car accident over a year ago. I sat in bed for days with these words scrambling around in my mind. After I wrote the words down I put the paper in a drawer to never read again. On the anniversary of the accident I stumbled across the note and had an emotional outburst. It may not be the best written piece of work, but it is special to me. I've grown to love the words and what they mean to me. I put the words out for you to see in hopes they will mean something to you too, enjoy!
