I spent my childhood trying so hard to impress my dad, trying to fill a void that was already taken but still empty. And the irony of that was that someone very close to me felt that way as well. Though after he remarried a year and a half after, he seemed to double in personality and even though me and my step-mum never really saw eye to eye, I thanked her though that. Barely scraping through tests I managed by the grace of god to squeeze out my high school diploma and tried my luck at college near my house. At first it didn't work out but with the second interview and a whole summer of back to back courses I managed to stabilise my grades which proved to them that I could be a hardworking student. But things never seem to run smoothly, do they?

As an Artist Eren knew never to take things for granted. Because you never knew the hidden meaning behind simple things, where they could lead you, or even when they would leave.
