April thought she had a normal life that was happy and joyful. She had everything going for her. She was athletic and played many instruments. That is until that day came. Government class day. It was the most boring class and all government where she would sit for 2 hours with 30 other peers. She never thought she'd chase after her life. It wasn't until that dreadful day that her life changed forever. She had Phys.Ed that day. Of course being a mere 14 years old and a freshman in high school, she never knew what happened could have ever happened to her. She was an advanced student. All of her classes advanced. She was in Algebra part 2. She was feeling so tired and felt as if she could sleep then and there. She fought it although something was off. She knew something was going to happen and after it does she doesn't know what to do. She never meant to fall in love. She never wanted to hurt anyone else by falling in love. She knew it but didn't expect it to happen. Is true love strong enough to help her keep fighting? What is it that has April fighting? Is love enough to help her fight and stay alive? Is it enough to make her want to live and chase after her life? Will they find love in each other or will it be too late? Read to find out. By the way everything in this story is fictional. *It's still in the works and has not been revised and edited yet.

That's what I am, a lonesome wavelength, a rare one. Frustration, love, and pain, they hit differently, all of it. A soul, that resembles mine, can I find? So that, I can finally have someone, to talk it out, to take it out, all these unnamed emotions. ~~~~~~•~~~~~~~ The stories of rise and fall of everyday in a youngadult's life.

Step into the fire, feel the heat, and march toward Mount Zion. This poem weaves the powerful energy of "Bonfire" by David Bennett with the relentless courage of "March to Zion". Every step is a story, every spark a lesson, and every heartbeat a call to rise. The journey is heavy - the weight of struggles, the shadows of doubt, the scars of the past - yet through it all, the spirit remains untamed and unstoppable. This isn't just about walking or surviving; it's about marching with purpose, igniting the fire within, and letting the light of Mount Zion guide every step. Feel the rhythm of resilience, the power of courage, and the unstoppable force of inner fire. This is for those who rise despite the odds, who march despite the darkness, and who embrace every spark as part of their story. Your journey, your flame, and your spirit are sacred - and this poem is a testament to your unstoppable rise.

I don't like cheesy quotes. Why? Because half the time, they aren't true. Cyberbullying isn't to be sugar-coated. I of all people know this. But it's not like in the movies. It's not like you can start farting glitter bombs and sing show tunes while prancing around like Cinderella after experiencing what it's like to be publicly humiliated and shamed. This is what it's really like. The good, bad and the ugly. *** #RiseAbove Writing challenge for Telus FICTION All Rights Reserved Copyright 2017©
