School has just started, I've already met an angel of shimmering gold eyes, and a demon with killer hair and eyes glinting of solid chrome. Strangely they saw me, not just the nerdy persona that seems to ooze from my very pores. These two are different.....I plan to uncover why.

This world is based on three core principles: Hope, Faith and Emotion. Hope is lower than faith for it can be felt without reason and by anyone at anytime, Faith is lower than emotion for Faith can placed blindly, and above both of them rests Emotion for it cannot be faked and can even transcend from a abstract concept to a physical form. In this world live people with extraordinary abilities that are unique to each individual but with this power comes a great cost, feeling any emotion in excess will turn a human into a Danger Beast. These feral creatures do not respond to reason and are extremely deadly, feeding off of the emotions felt in the moment that morphed them into hideous creatures and using it to sustain themselves, because of their danger to the people around them these creatures must be hunted down and dealt with... And that is where Torpid Potent comes in

This is a story that follows the lives of two creatures. One is an angel who has a destiny to become a fallen angel and one is a demon who is destined to become a risen demon. Along the way they meet in the middle and fall in love. Meeting others, Creating memories, Making friends and more in this story. My life

Follow small time thief Layla Lancaster, in her intergalactic journey when she comes across a orange gem that is far more then it seems. This story is connected to the rest of the Risen Universe that I have been building. And while this is not a direct sequel to any other book in the timeline it takes place after Scattered, Spies Book III, and Pheonix Force. Some characters pop up as cameos from those books and if you haven't read them I highly recommend you do so. I've also nicknamed this "The Ex and Cyblow Book" and that's because they are main characters in this story, so just, yeah, best if you at least have read the Risen Trilogy before this book.

God is Risen, He is alive in our life. And He won all the battles na pinagdadaanan at pagdadaanan pa natin. In our 20 years of existence, we experienced a lot of problems. But nothing of those problem stayed, lahat yon nalagpasan natin nang hindi natin namamalayan. Wala naman tayong ginagawa, magugulat nalang tayo tapos na, wala na. It was God, He overcame it all. Kung sa 20 years na nabubuhay tayo hindi tayo pinabayaan ni Lord, maging ngayon at magpakailanman hindi nya tayo pababayaan.
