This story takes place after Episode 9: Rise of Skywalker and does contain contain spoilers from that film as a result. This book is the second book in a series but it is written in a way where you can enjoy it by itself. The first book is called Forced Connection Episode 1. Rey has just lost Ben Solo after he has saved her from the break of death. However, her recently found feeling for him might be clouding her judgment. She swears she still feels him through their dyad connection and wonders if this means there is a chance of his return. This story is about her search for him and answers to other questions as well.

Chloe Lydia Skywalker is the 3 1/2 year old daughter of Rey Skywalker. She, like her mother, is very observant, and alert to her surroundings. Rey is worried Chloe is not going to have a father role model, until Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) comes along. When he invades Takodana, he finds Chloe playing outside, his heart softens, and he looks around for her mom. When Rey finds out, she thanks him for being kind to her daughter, who, at the time, is 2 1/2.

I really liked Rise of Skywalker. Except for the fact that they needlessly killed Ben. (I understand the parallel between Darth Vader and other significance about Ben's death- but seriously? Can't they just let us be happy?!?! #Reylo) So here is one of the last scenes of Rise of Skywalker- if Ben had lived.

this story takes place in a galaxy far far away, right after the events of rise of skywalker. although, in this story ben solo lived on. rey and ben then begin to think they can live a normal life up until someone from rey's pasts surfaces; threatening the lives of the citizens of the galaxy.

Set After The Rise of Skywalker MAJOR SPOILERS blah blah blah Ben is gone, really gone. No one knows about the moments he shared with Rey before death, except Rey. The resistance hero's Rey, Poe and Finn, all reunite on Ajan Kloss, ready to start a new page with the remaining resistance members. Rey remembers Ben everyday, only as a memory. Phantom dreams keep her awake at night. A feeling reignites in Rey, one too familiar to ignore. The others are catching on quickly, and Rey has to make some quick decisions before their secret is exposed.
