What if Ben Solo didn't die at the end of Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker? Here's what I think would happen. Spoilers. Duh.

this story takes place in a galaxy far far away, right after the events of rise of skywalker. although, in this story ben solo lived on. rey and ben then begin to think they can live a normal life up until someone from rey's pasts surfaces; threatening the lives of the citizens of the galaxy.

Ever since he was just fifteen years old he has had a dark presence in his mind, a dark manipulative voice that infected his mind until he became the violent and destructive machine that Supreme Leader Snoke wanted him to be. But now there's a presence. A light presence within the force that he can sense pulling him to the light. This presence is Rey, just some nobody scavenger from Jakku. In the weeks after the Battle of Exegol, Rey Skywalker has taken on Finn as a Padawan while Poe leads the Resistance in trying to finish off the First Order. Rey comes to learn that Ben Solo may not be dead after all, but trapped in a mysterious dimension called the World Between Worlds. Rey is determined to bring him back to the physical world, but Ben has plenty of plans for rescuing more than just himself--and he needs Rey's help.

After the fall of the Final Order, Rey finds herself struggling with the outcome. Co-Generals, Finn and Poe rely on her as an integral part for restructuring the galaxy, but Rey finds herself distracted from the task at hand. She yearns for the man who made it possible for her to step away from her last battle alive. The Force was with her, but it wasn't with him . . . [VII - IX] a former jedi with anger issues, a hermit with a passion for taking care of others; two cousins against the galaxy, discovering what loyalty means in the face of war.

// This follows DIRECTLY after The Rise of Skywalker (IX), and contains huge spoilers. Read at your own risk. // As the fight of eons settles down and the triumphant Resistance hold many, many celebrations, Rey struggles to fully become one with the Force; she wants to have a better, more reliable relationship with her lightsaber, but she is without a proper mentor. With the First (and Final) Order completely defeated, the Resistance begin to reconstruct various planets and civilizations. Poe takes Finn under his wing and teaches everything he knows about piloting and his leadership skills, despite Finn's desire to focus on his newfound relationship with the Force. He is told that he could never be a proper Jedi, and with Rey being so busy with her own antics, he decides to take matters into his own hands. As rifts between relationships and friendships begin to form greater than ever before, Rose finds it a personal challenge to keep everything settled and peaceful. (Kylo Ren x OC fic) After Hosnian Prime is destroyed, what's left of the Resistance's supporters desperately search for another planet to be the face of the New Republic. As the First Order continues to crush any form of sedition, support for the Resistance fades. Aware that the loss of hope is the key to the First Order's success, representatives of the rebellions from the Core Worlds of Coruscant and Corellia make contact with Mandalore in hopes that its young Duchess will revoke its neutrality and allow it to operate as a new hope for democracy and peace to return to the galaxy. 19 year old Ariadne Kryze governs Mandalore with the pacifism she was raised to believe in, instituted in Mandalore by her grandmother, Duchess Satine. But Ari feels something deep within her that diverges from the peaceful ways she was raised to believe in. A call to power, fueled by rage, anger, pain. (COMPLETE!!! My best ranking is #54 in 'order' out of 2,000) 5 years after the rise of skywalker as rey is now an adult and a jedi master she now has a powerful apprentice of her own. But rey feels something call out to her that makes her question the death of Ben Solo. Will rey be able to crack the mystery with the help of her new little apprentice in time?!? And if she succeeds will she find her self face to face with an old enemy. (Very slow progressing story, don't read unless you have quite some free time. Life after the Resistance has not proved to be what the team hoped it would be. Rey has been struggling to move on after the life and death of Ben Solo/Kylo Ren. She must come to terms with his evil acts and his last actions. Finn must be honest with his feelings, and Poe is expected to be the shining light for all. Will the trio cope with their ongoing issues? Or will they succumb to their struggles?

After escaping there has been rumours of Sidious alive and created the largest fleet called the Final Order now the Resistance must find a way to stop him
