A different take on 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' story. Naofumi still gets summoned to Melromarc along with Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki and he's still the shield hero. However, there will be a different twist in Naofumi's fate and Motoyasu, Ren and Itsuki try to help him while dealing with their inner feelings for him.

I literally gave up on my last fanfiction, and I literally have Motofumi fanfictions taking over my google docs, so I suppose- I literally write about these two all the time- I have no clue what it is about them--- Also, I have seen almost every story of these two on AO3, wattpad so... :) (Aka I need to make more content)

WARNINGS!: Murder, attempted murder, mentions of cutting, kidnapping and strong language! . . . . Motoyasu is ordered to kill no other than Naofumi by Myne, who is hateful for how successful Naofumi is growing. Motoyasu doesn't hesitate to agree and begins his journey to assassinate the shield devil. Before long he finds Naofumi and is unable to kill him. This leads to a conflict with his feelings, and a special message to the king of Melromarc if he can't kill Naofumi. (Also being posted on AO3)

Colin Watts finds himself out of his element; what was supposed to be a mere scouting mission in his latest paranormal investigation has turned into something much more sinister. An abandoned lighthouse housing a winged woman on her deathbed had been jarring in itself, but what made things worse was the fact that Colin felt he knew her. She claimed to be royalty from another world that no longer existed and offered her only treasure, begging Colin to save her. Colin couldn't turn a blind eye, so he was handed the title of savior and stripped of his memories as a result. Equipped with a magic ring and struck with confusion, he was flung into the dregs of a world where not even ashes remained and summoned again to another world where he was not supposed to exist. A great ruin is approaching, and enemies lurk in the shadows who want heroes like him out of the picture. Colin will have to find a way to stop it and find it fast, and while he's at it, find a way to help himself in the process.

Motoyasu was ordered by no other than Malty to go against the shield 'devil' and to slay the devil himself. Motoyasu took the offer- ready to pierce Naofumi and take away his life. He made his way to a very familiar village... And he found himself struggling as he stood in front of the raven- having a perfect opportunity to kill him.
