Have you ever just felt stuck in life? Like you are circling the same vicious cycles over and over again? You have this laundry list of things you want to accomplish in your life, most of them are just simple tasks like getting the daily dishes done and then other times they are bigger like writing a book or starting a business. Regardless of how big or daunting your list is, it just feels outright impossible to get a handle on it for some reason. Like life's lemons are just getting thrown at you left and right and you just need things to pause long enough for you to actually catch some of those darn lemons to make that lemonade with. I can relate. In this book, I want to share with you how I tackled these incredibly hard topics. I spent almost 20 years in depression and battled some major lows that could have destroyed me. My heart and desire is to be completely open, honest, and relatable as I unearth my life story and show you exactly how I overcame. I will give you practical ways to help you master your mind and conquer these demons for good. I am a southern girl born and raised in Arkansas. I now live in Oklahoma with my husband, Mark and our four children. I am passionate about sharing my story to help others who have battled depression, amidst a whole slew of other ailments including stress, anxiety, loneliness, fear, abandonment, and mental illness. I will also share how to cope through grief when others walk out of your life. I promise to be raw to my core as I write my story. In it you will find humor, deep real talk, faith and hope as you walk with me through some of my most painful memories from my past, all while finding truth alongside me.

It's hard to know if someone's really understands you.. that you knew that it is not easy to express your thoughts scared that they might just judge you negatively.. That's why, it is not your rule to explain yourself all the time to all people around you.. Let them! The truths will reveal... in right time, in God's time.. I am writing this to express my thoughts, either it's positive or not.. I just found that it's more good to feel that you have something to do when you can't say a word.. I don't care about you, just don't judge me..

She was not built for comfort. She was built for conquest. Maya Adeyemi grew up behind a blue door that smiled at the neighbours - and hid everything inside. She survived a father with two faces. A marriage that drained her dry. Grief that brought her to her knees. Every time the world broke her open - gold poured out. This is the story of a woman who turned every wound into a weapon, every scar into a stepping stone, and built something so powerful that no one could ever take it from her again. This is not a fairy tale. It is a war. And she won. For every woman who has cried in silence. For every girl who was told she was nothing. For the ones still in the middle of the storm - this book found you for a reason.

Blue Wilson is a 17 year old girl, who is trapped in a state of depression. She is depressed after multiple stays in the hospital caused by her parents. She barely has any friends or anyone that will be willing to talk to her. One day a teenage boy moves into the house that is across from hers. He knows nothing of her story but over a short time period of 7 months he learns more about her than her family ever tried to. He learns of her demons, the darkness that surrounds her, the pain that lies with in her eyes, and most importantly the scars on her wrists that she hid for so long. She tries to escape everything that causes her pain from reading to drawing to listening to music all the way to making the cuts, but nothing works. Throughout her junior year of high school, she is bullied and pushed against walls and into lockers. Hope you guys like this story, it's my first one and I was trying not to give anything away. It is slightly terrible, probably really terrible, but with it being my first one I hope you readers out there will cut me some slack.
