I've learned a lot

This is a poem about someone who has been sexually abused. This person finally decides to take back her/his life. Based on a true story someone told me and I wrote it for this specific person.

Mina Fields, a 17-year-old high school girl, has a perfect life. She has a boyfriend, loads of money, a loving family, and a high rank on the social ladder at school. What could go wrong with that? Apparently everything. When a tragic accident sends Mina's perfect life into shambles, she doesn't know what to do. Her family has broken apart, her social status plummeted, and finds out the truth about her relationships. To put it simply, Mina went from a high cliff to the rocky bottoms of an abyss. A disaster of a life. Mina doesn't think she can survive this huge fall, until Ian steps into her life - for the better - or for the worst. Will Ian help her see the light in the world again, or will he leave her in the dumps; just like everyone else?

This is a short story that was required of me in my English class. I was to explain in a narrative where I want to be in fifteen years.

wholeheartedly heartbroken

I have been inspired by some ted talks I have seen lately and I want you all to help me tell a story. I want each and every one of you men and women. Girls and boys to tell me you're stories. Blue Wilson is a 17 year old girl, who is trapped in a state of depression. She is depressed after multiple stays in the hospital caused by her parents. She barely has any friends or anyone that will be willing to talk to her. One day a teenage boy moves into the house that is across from hers. He knows nothing of her story but over a short time period of 7 months he learns more about her than her family ever tried to. He learns of her demons, the darkness that surrounds her, the pain that lies with in her eyes, and most importantly the scars on her wrists that she hid for so long. She tries to escape everything that causes her pain from reading to drawing to listening to music all the way to making the cuts, but nothing works. Throughout her junior year of high school, she is bullied and pushed against walls and into lockers. Hope you guys like this story, it's my first one and I was trying not to give anything away. It is slightly terrible, probably really terrible, but with it being my first one I hope you readers out there will cut me some slack.
